Wrapping up Season 11 in Style!
December 30th, 2014

Hey everyone! What has over a million characters, features all your favourite LRR people, took more than seven days (including Christmas Day!) to shoot, and is a delightfully (non-cannon) way to send off a bunch of our best, silliest characters?

It’s The LoadingReadyRumble 2, the season 11 finale! I’d talk more about it, but I’d just spoil it.

If watching that has left you a little misty, don’t forget that:

  • Unskippable
  • Feed Dump
  • The Crapshots
  • The LRRcast
  • TapTapConcede
  • Friday Nights
  • and Commodore Hustle will all continue in 2015! Also we’ll have a mystery box! Exciting!

So speaking of that, enjoy this week’s Unskippable! It’s Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. Title wise, COD:AW is no COD:BLOPS, but what is my friends? What is?

Patreon get!
December 19th, 2014

Hey everyone! We’ve launched a Patreon!

patreon

We’re super excited for 2015 and all the neat stuff we have planned for it. We’re launching this crazy thing so we can keep doing all the cool stuff we do and use the spare time we have from not doing weekly sketches to work on… THE MYSTERY BOX.

I’m sure you have some questions!

Q: Wow, that’s a lot of information. Can you give me a TL;DR?
A: I live to TL your DRs. The Patreon will support:

  • Our TapTapConcede Magic: The Gathering podcast/vidcast, weekly
  • A Crapshot mini-sketch, weekly
  • The “crew talks about stuff” LRRcast podcast/vidcast, bi-weekly
  • Our ongoing LoadingReadyLive video game streaming, which happens basically every friggin’ day
  • And… The Mystery Box  (aka, R&D for new, exciting things!)

Q: Do you have milestones?
A: Yes! At $3,000 a month, we’ll upgrade the crapshots to twice a week and the LRRcast to weekly. At $6,000 per month, we’ll get 6 episodes of CommodoreHustle too. At $10,000 per month (aka, reach for the stars money) we’ll do a monthly behind the scenes documentary.

Q: What are your pledge levels?
A: You can pledge what you like, but if you pledge more than $10 a month or more, you’ll get a one time gift of a thank you card from us. (We have plans. It will be cool.)

Q: Do I get exclusive videos if I support you guys?
A: We’re not going to do any Patreon supporter exclusive content – our videos will still be free to watch, but we hope you’ll support the Patreon because you enjoy what we do!

For more information, check out the video we made for the exclusive purpose of explaining this crazy thing!

Heeeey everybody it’s Monday and that means new new videos!

This week’s LRR video is The Xth Way to Y. What happens when you’ve done all the other X Ways to Y? You do a meta one about doing X Ways to Y. I feel after 11 years of sketches we’re allowed to be a little (a lot) self-indulgent. This video has everything, puppets, murder, explosions… murder. Did I mention murder?

Speaking of murder and explosions, this week’s Unskippable is Alien: Isolation. This game is terrifying. This opening cut scene is terrifying. Luckily we have Graham and Paul to ease some of the fear with a joke laden commentary track. Still not going to play this though. NOPE NOPE NOPE.

It’s beginning to look a lot like SHUT THE HELL UP

Are you sick of Christmas Creep?

Overwhelmed by the Winter Wriggle?

Maybe just annoyed by the Silent Night Sneak?

Then you feel like Graham in this week’s episode of Commodore Hustle. The whole crew has the holidays on the brain, but Graham just wants to do some work.

Speaking of getting stuff done, this week’s Unskippable is The Adventures of Van Helsing II: Inexplicable Sequel Edition. Join him and his ghostfriend lady Katrina as they… talk in terrible accents. And… read off cue cards for like TWO minutes. Yeah, it’s not the most exciting opener, but Graham and Paul’s jokes make all the difference.

Later Gator! I’m Not on Twitter!

Ever realized that you know all the new and exciting things that have happened (and all the boring, stupid, useless things too) because you’ve been spending too much time on Twitter? Well we here at LoadingReadyRun have a solution for that. Have you tried… Not being on Twitter?

Not being on Twitter has a ton of benefits, but don’t take my word for it! Watch our informative video.

Speaking of informative, this week’s Unskippable is extremely informative! If you like knowing stuff that doesn’t seem to make much sense. Drakengard 3’s opening cutscene is long, but it’s less opening move and more “trailer for the game you already bought.” Did I mention it’s weird as hell? You really have to watch this one.
