More Stuff than You Can Shake a Crapshot At!

Some of the LRR crew is down at PAX South, but that doesn’t mean that the content stops coming!

In this week’s Unskippable, Graham and Paul spend some quality time with a completely reasonable fellow who happens to be man in charge in Far Cry 4.

If you are looking for Magic: The Gathering silliness, look no further than the latest episode of Friday Nights: White Loxodon Exchange.

Loading Time Catchup!
January 12th, 2015

Hey everyone, it’s Monday and I have some good news for you!

While looking back through our 2014 videos, we realized a few Loading Time episodes were missing, and we could have sworn we shot footage for them. Turns out we did, and they just needed to be edited! Ha ha, we’re awesome.

Anyhow, without further delay, a look back in time to exotic February 2014!  We have two all new Loading Time episodes out, one for Math of the Montage, and one for A Fortunate Teller.

First, you can revisit Cam being really mean to Paul and James for a video (as opposed to him being mean to Paul and James because he’s a misanthrope) while Graham films it!

Second, did you know we built a sweet set (TM) made of blankets and sheets for the fortune teller’s tent? Watch how (hastily) we made it!

And finally, because it’s Monday, there’s also a brand new episode of Unskippable. This week Graham and Paul take on the cartoonish horror of The Evil Within. I see dead people… everywhere, because they all chose to be murdered in the lobby I guess? If nothing else it was very considerate of them to bunch up like that.

2015, sun still rises in East

Hey everyone!

What a weird Monday. No weekly sketch.

BUT we did just do CheckPoint over on our Twitch channel and as I type this, Graham and Paul are streaming Bound by Flame on GPLP. A new Unksippable went up over at the Escapist today, and I’m heading home to edit this week’s Feed Dump. We also put up a bunch of new Crapshots last week and we’re going to film a bunch more on Friday, AND we have plans for everyone to come in and work on Saturday. In other words, aside from the weekly video, it’s been business as usual at the Moonbase.

There’s not much of a point to this post than to say “hey, we’re still here, doin’ LRR things,” but I hope you find that information comforting.

Anyhow, this week’s Unskippable is Marlow Briggs and the Mask of Death. It’s an over the top hack and slash adventure game that makes God of War look staid and serious. Seriously, this game isn’t kidding around. It comes from the “I’m Gandalf, let’s go school” of plot setup — i.e. less is more. What even is this mask thing? Who knows, and more importantly, who cares?

There is also some sort of ancient magic at work? It’s not well explained because setting up the story would cut into valuable scythe time.
