Re: E3 2013

I award "best announcement" to Star Wars: Battlefront. Nothing else made me scream at the top of my voice towards the screen. Best conference is obviously Sony. I wasn't planning on getting any of the 8th generation consoles, but now I'm not so sure. That PS4 looks pretty damn appetising.

Re: Return of Who's Line Is It Anyway.

Considering the recurring bald jokes in the US Whose Line, having a spambot post in here about hair is hilarious.

Best ending/cliffhanger that Moffat has ever written. I can't wait for the anniversary.

Re: Yes Man

I loved this video so much. Perhaps the most brilliantly satirical LRR vid ever. I am SO in agreement with ad134! (s)he has succinctly embodied my feelings on this in much more fully (and yet vastly more concisely - heck, this parenthetical statement is longer than his/her entire original post) tha...

Re: Return of Who's Line Is It Anyway.

As a Brit, I should probably be ashamed that I find the American version to be funnier. Well, I thought that it was a rare occasion of the American adaptation out-doing the original... and my god, it did well. I can't wait for more, although I'm slightly disappointed at the lack of Drew Carey. Still...

Re: Black Mirror

Definitely the weakest of all of the Black Mirrors. I still didn't hate it, but it was bad compared to the good episodes (AKA all of it so far).

Re: Black Mirror

Episode 2 of series 2 has just been shown.

I really, REALLY loved the plot twist. I was thoroughly disturbed in many different ways right from the start.

Fantastic work from Andy. I laughed out loud at the first mini-sketch, which is something I don't do all that often.

Yeah, it is for me. It's annoying because the brown "Busing begins in..." box is obscuring it almost entirely.

Re: Red Dwarf X

I really loved the Series 8 ending "explanation". Also, the scene where he slams his fist down on the table is maybe my favourite scene in RDX. That or the "fear" speech.

except I can't call myself a Libertarian because it's silly, also Ron Paul. But that's what libertarian actually means. Socially liberal, fiscally conservative. That's a gross oversimplification, and I believe factually wrong. If I'm wrong, please correct me. What does it mean? (It's really hard to...

I enjoyed the surrealist elements of the video. Killing the underwear was highly amusing in particular, and the comedic timing (from all 3) was spot on.

Re: Red Dwarf X

I enjoyed the latest episode a lot. It contained quite a bit of social/religious commentary, which Red Dwarf hasn't done since the REALLY early days. It feels so nice to watch it and to look forward to it every week. They aren't trying to prove anything, they're just putting on an old shoe and going...

Re: Red Dwarf X

My family and I did not enjoy IX very much at all. It was so un-Red Dwarf as well as lacking a certain... atmosphere. This first episode of Red Dwarf X surprised us immensely, in two ways. The first is that it regained the atmosphere of Doug Naylor era Red Dwarf. The second was that it was not just ...

I think the reason he couldn't travel back was less to do with New York and more to do with Amy's and Rory's timelines.
