Re: Factorio
I played the demo, then acquired the game and played around with it a bit. It is a lot of fun to build overly complicated assembly lines and try to automate things so you can focus on building up your base. Some of the mods they have are quite fun and add a lot of new items and upgrades to the mix. ...

Re: Building a LRR-Themed Alpha Centauri Faction
I'd say -2 industry because they are always doing so much and need a lot of resources for operations. Kinda like the rationale of Spartans having lower industry because of top end weapons. +5 science because Paul, the great scientist. Morale of +1 because they bring joy to people and have a strong a...

Midwest Media Expo 2015
I was wondering if any of the crew were going to attend this year. I know last year Graham, Kathleen, Beej and Cam were there and good times were had by all. I haven't seen them on the guest list yet so I'm wondering will you have a presence this year? I need another DVD and sketch by Kathleen if yo...

I agree, they haven't lost their touch at all. I'd go as far as to say they got better if such a thing is even possible. I like the surprise guest, that can be really amusing with the right person. Can't wait to see more episodes, haven't laughed that much in a long time.

Re: Conquest of the Earth, one click at a time.
I have played it. Mostly just made custom scenarios that were lopsided in my favour and nuked the enemies into the ground with large fleets of nuclear bombers. Empire Earth 2 was pretty fun too, so many resources to collect through the various stages of history. It was certainly different from most ...

I love ICBC
I just got my license in the mail today, no problems at all. Best part was I just renewed last Monday, January 25th (my birthday). I walk in to the office, had to wait all of 2 minutes to get a number, and take a seat. Before I even get to open the paper and prepare for a long wait its my turn. The ...

Re: To whom it may concern... [A Desert Bus fanfic]
Might just be my interpretation, but is the driver a serial killer, that just picks up people and kills them to sustenance and money to keep the bus runnig so he can endlessly drive between Tuson and Las Vegas like some ferry man on the river Styx? It was rather interesting to read, and seems kind o...

Re: Star Trek Online
I read about it a while ago, and liked the idea that it took many people to run a starship. Would make for some good team building in game and provide more dynamic game play (I'd have loved to be a engineer like Scotty). As a die hard EVE player, I just see an influx of players about 6 months after ...

After Ways to X2Y, they should try to post up the old Season 1 X2Y vids, they are so simple and hilarious. Its part of the LRR Heritage. Still love the Ways to Make Someone Leave a Room, only seen it at the screenings, but its so great.

Re: Desert bus goals
We have to get Andy to do a dramatic reading of something, his rendition of "Its a Wonderful Life" was riviting. I still maintain Tally is the best author, her whole reason for reading the books if I'm not mistaken was to better rip them apart and harshly critique them. The Matt proofreadi...

Thats a good idea (and evil). I'll nominate Tally, she has read the books and its a great short story writer. Only question is how much we have to hit to convince her. Please Tally, for the children.

Another music video about Desert Bus would be a good one. I really like "Desert Bus Killed the Internet Star" last year, and I know you could make another parody thats equally awesome. Takes time to make a good product, so no hurry. Also, I may have missed this important detail, but why is...

That sounds like an interesting idea, and I hope it goes well for you. I just signed up for this, and will be trying my hand at writing a novel again. I usually try to play with friends, people I know or with my clan mates. I guess I've been mostly lucky in finding good people at random, but you always find idiots too. My first time was interesting and rather fast progressing. I went to a friends house for new years, just me and her with the plan to have sex (planning is important, you are much less likely to forget something important and will be better prepared mentally). That night we did a lot of things, but o...
