Re: CheckPoint 249 - CS:NO News is Good News
I can't say if this applies to the human skull used by the composer for Inside, but the skulls I drew in my life drawing class at my local community college came from India. The teacher said there are companies that pay people money for the rights to harvest body parts after the person dies, usually...

Bulbasaur and Snorlax seem to be popular for jokes. I wonder if that's an in-game thing or just those two being funny.

So the question remains: did the hosts just ruin Derek's "game" by revealing the misconception while the girl at the weinerhouse could still hear them?

Regarding the use of blood during matches, did they just not have convincing enough fake blood back then? Having them cut themselves in any way seems like a major liability, so it surprises me that the business side would've allowed it.

Re: CheckPoint 215 - Scratching the Highest Court
I looked up the writ of certiorari for the xbox 360 case (the text that asks the supreme court to look at something). From what I can tell, they aren't deciding the disc scratch suit. They're deciding who is legally authorized to decide how the case should be decided. Law can be pretty silly.

Nonfomercial is funny, but I do wonder if perhaps Graham isn't very good at sounding mean. He comes across more as flabbergasted to me.

I'd like to offer a polite suggestion: if you ever have someone boasting about doing a video by themselves again, film a quick and intentionally frantic version of the patreon ad as if they had forgotten that point and hurriedly try to make their own post-vid patreon ad.

I just verified that I am incapable of doing other things while listening to this. There's just too much funny.
I really like that the moments of breaking character are accompanied by a clearly different sound level. It makes it easy to tell what is and isn't in-character.

I'm not sure if this is worth mentioning, but #272 seems to be on youtube but not here. It seems like it'd be obvious, but you never know.

By heat wave, is that like higher than 30 degrees? If not I could see it being more comfortable with paul's outfit just because of the head-ware. Even in moderate weather I hate direct sunlight.

Hearing the plot summary for this movie gave me the same feeling I got from trying to a certain other short story from Harlan Ellison, "I have no mouth. And I must scream." It's not the feeling of shock or horror that, judging from what I've read of the author himself is probably what he w...

Regarding why /k/ uses that letter, given the conversations I've heard from my friends that go there and what I've heard of other boards (I don't go to 4chan myself) the obvious reason that comes to mind is it's short for Kalashnikov. Back when Mikhail Kalashnikov (the creator the famous AK line inc...

As someone who did actually read the harry potter books (entertaining, but I wouldn't read them again or recommend them to people who don't care), I find the common spoiler of them hilarious. Seriously, that wasn't a very major moment in the series, it was pretty obvious it was going to happen, and ...
