Re: Rape Jokes: Still A Problem

I haven't really posted on here much lately (Just lurking in a few threads), but I came across this blog post by Patton Oswalt. He doesn't get to the rape joke part until the end, but the first two parts are very interesting and pertinent to the subject matter.

Re: Current Musical Obsession!

I recently discovered the Silver Jews and bought their album American Water. I think it may be my favorite album of all time. If you like like indie-alt rock you'll probably like these guys. It's a shame they aren't together anymore. One of my favorite tracks from the album: http://www.youtube.com/w...

I doubt it's possible given your description, but be sure to check if the crack can be filled. It's much cheaper to get a crack filled than to replace the whole thing.

He does good work so if you're looking for a plushie please consider buying one from him. Link to commission page: http://xsjado78.deviantart.com/journal/I-will-start-taking-co...

Re: Exiled Mafia - Day 2

Like I said earlier, my studies under the goddess have given me a detailed knowledge of species throughout the universe. I should be able to tell Preacher's true alignment when he dies. I will know if Jack was lying or not, though I am inclined to believe him since his story matches up with aeric's ...

Re: Exiled Mafia - Day 2

My studies under the goddess have enlightened me to traits of species throughout the universe. Psylens can make bonds with people in order to suffer pain and even die in their stead. As aeric was a Psylen, I believe he made a bond with JackSlack. Aeric must have known JackSlack is an investigator. H...

Re: Exiled Mafia - Day 2

*breaking character* With all the traditional mafia killing roles I think it is very likely that aeric was town or neutral. If there were two kills last night I would wager that one of them was a vigilante/serial killer, but with one kill it's a pretty safe bet to assume he was town. * Did anyone ha...

Re: The Third Annual LRR Forum Secret Santa! (CLOSED)

I wasn't a fan of The Explosives of the Month Club. They we're catering way too much towards mainstream explosives and completely ignored classic and improvised ones.

Re: Gallon Smashing.

Yeah, this is awful. I hope they actually get hurt doing this. This kind of prank is a sign/symptom of what's wrong with today's youth. They may think this is harmless, but it really isn't. It's wasteful, it's annoying, and it's opening a whole can of legal worms they didn't even know existed. They ...

Re: Books you're reading now

I got a Philip K. Dick collection for Christmas and finally started reading it. I'm starting with The Man in the High Castle and I'm enjoying it so far. I'm also reading a fan translation of Kizumonogatari, the prequel to Bakemonogatari and the other light novels in that series. Also, are we just go...

I would recommend going with what you find intriguing. Of the things not on your list I think Philosophy would be a good one. Like Fayili said Literature is great too. And while I don't know you're specific brain condition, I have been told any kind of critical thinking can help restore broken neura...

Re: Exiled Mafia - Day 1

In the trend of breaking character: I'll go with Vote: no lynch . Let's remember; this game is special in that our alliances are not revealed upon death. That means we need to rely upon suspicious behavior more than usual. Lynching someone today will not give us any additional information. Likewise,...
