Re: Desert Bus Posters
Got mine at some point, it was sitting on the doorstep when I left for work this morning O.o
Still keeping an eye out for the starburst shirts I ordered at the same time. Hopefully they're still on the way and didn't get left at the door and stolen. People in this apartment complex can be... unscrupulous.

Re: Desert Bus Posters
I've still not got mine in the UK yet, even though I've had a notification saying the order was completed. I checked the tracking number I got and it simply says it was received by Canada post but no other updates at all.
Re: Desert Bus Posters
The tracking numbers that accompany these posters will only return that info, I'm afraid.
And mail can take an AWFULLY long time to reach the UK. I'm sorry, but it'll likely be a little longer.

Re: Desert Bus Posters
I imagined that would be the case. Canada Post are just as helpful as Royal Mail with tracking stuff it seems (i.e. not at all). Thanks for letting me know!
Re: Desert Bus Posters
My poster came back from the frame making place yesterday, I am sooo chuffed with how good it looks. I can't get a good photo using artificial light so I'll try again at the weekend. Pictures incoming, promise.

Re: Desert Bus Posters
My poster finally arrived yesterday! It looks awesome and I think I shall have to frame it too. Just need the classic Desert Bus t shirt to turn up now.
Re: Desert Bus Posters
Finally got around to uploading a photo of my framed poster position next to my bunk (I have a small room). The positioning isn't perfect but it does mean I see it every morning.

Yours is signed?
I really ought to get around to getting mine framed as well.
But it looks awesome!

My poster arrived today!
Yeah, not really sure why it took 'til now, living in the UK will do that I guess, but I'm absolutely chuffed to bits with it!
Thanks to everybody who signed the posters, I love it, and I imagine it must have been really gruelling work for all of you to do!
Also, I like that Tally signed on the picture of herself on my poster rather than at the bottom with everybody else. Way to break the mould Tally!

Re: Desert Bus Posters
Not sure why I never posted my pictures here, but here they go.
Next to my wardrobe, across from my bed, so I see this when I wake up:
Then, next to my bed:
Yes, my headboard has a bookshelf in it, and yes, I'm currently using it to sort MtG cards.
And yes, I took the wider shot to show off my original "Beneath the Planet of the Apes" poster above my bed.
And yes, I did position it so that the arrow points at me when I'm sleeping.

Re: Desert Bus Posters
I'm going to hijack this thread to ask if there's going to be a DB6 poster this year. Is so, will they be made pubically available again? And if so, are you guys going to sign them? And if so, can I stop asking if so?

Yes, yes, no, yes.

Re: Desert Bus Posters
Anyone know off hand how large the DB5 posters were? I'm trying to look into a frame and that's kind of important to know when looking.

Re: Desert Bus Posters
I don't have a ruler handy, but my quick guess-timate is 20 inches by 30 inches.

For some reason, my yardstick was in my umbrella stand...
Yeah. It actually is 14x20.

Re: Desert Bus Posters
I didn't realize that the DB6 posters would only be available for 3 days after DB6 ended. Is there any chance a second run will be done (I know there wasn't last year) or if there's ANY way I can get ahold of some?
