While I did know that folks talk a little weird in Pennsyltucky, I've never heard macadam. Tarmac, sure, depending on locale, but macadam is entirely new to me.

Edit - Here's your answer. Just an odd (and technically incorrect) old-timey term it seems. Kinda like bumbershoot. *winks*

It's called asphalt.

1) Do you not have muck spreaders in Canada? If someone went on a rampage in one you'd need something majorly substantial to stop one.

2) Crazyness over answering questions ftw.

3) Graham got totally served.

I'm in the poconos and we call it asphalt.

And yes i know about Morgan having the Apple compy. but thats why i capitalized Paul's Apple and kept lowercase apple for morgan, referring to the fact that he has none of the fruit, but paul has the brand name.

nothing personal against anyone specific, but:

as opposed to what? all those fake Whatever Things :?:

you people with your rigid expectations for what a WT is make me sad.
If the segment were called "Witty Reports about Silly News by Graham and Morgan"(WRASNBGAM) then your point could be justified, but it's not.

The Whatever Thing is WHATEVER the LRR crew wants it to be, a chance to experiment with new ideas, or show some stuff they thought of but wouldn't work for a full video, or just mess around abit.

Sure the news segments are funny, but I also rather enjoy seeing experimentation with other videos/ideas even if they're not all quite as 'funny' (whatever that really means)

Please stop trying to constrict the WT into doing WRASNBGAM every week, or complaining about it when its not. The WT is more than just that, so GET OVER IT.

No complains, however they do the Whatever Thing; it's an extra segment reguardless of what it is. I've just always thought of the news segments as kind of the "real" Whatever Thing; maybe that's just my view, maybe not.

I don't have quite rigid expectations of what a Whatever Thing is supposed to be, I always just find it the most enjoyable when it's the news segments.

Just feel like defending my statment a little.

I am grateful for the Whatever Thing in all it's forms.... but...

I do prefer Morgan. And seemingly so do many other forumites. He's got personality. Pizzazz, one might say. Morgan is the Magnificent Bastard of LRR, the Lovable Rogue, the Shrewd Wanker even. He's got a strange sort of confident and insane personna that is just the proper mix of charisma, annoyingness, jackassery, and wit. Whereas Kathleen is more of a nice lady with a penchant for cats, music, and sarcasm.

Plus, how can we have another Man Cooking with Kathleen at the helm? Somehow I don't think Graham is manly enough to do it alone. The sheer amount of manliness set up in previous videos set the bar for No. 4 pretty high up there. Alex plus Graham could pull it off, especially if (I can't recall his name, Vince mebbe, the fellow who takes half damage from physical sources and aided Alex in grilling) joined in. Jer, James, and Bill could work too, although I dunno if they are skilled chefs or no.

Of course, Paul grilling in an HEV would be pretty awesome. All fipping burgers with a crowbar in one hand, shooting a headcrab infested Matt with a hand gun in the other.

Well really Graham, I feel the same way. That would be why I stated so in the first sentence of my post. Yes, I then went on to discribe my preference, but it is merely that: what I prefer.

I liked Kathleen about as much as Morgan, it's just that we're all so used to Morgan and the news-style w/e things that we seem to prefer those the most. Might be interesting if we get more people on their on occasion, just to keep in mixed up. Also, Morgan may be a shrewed wanker when it comes to these, but he's also an extremely lazy wanker, so as Graham said, better Kathleen than nothing.

I already know Morgan's funny. Kathleen's is new, and interesting to me. Also, throwing Graham in there is okay.

*ressurects percentages convo* Actually, having 100% more of something than someone else means you have exactly one more than that person does, so unless Kathleen is either an amazon, or has anatomy she hasn't told us about, she either has 200% more breasts than Morgan, or has the same number of breasts, just at a significantly larger volume each, depending on whether we're counting "developed" breasts, or simply the glands which reside behind everyone's nipples.

Morgan is funnier than Kathleen, IMO, but Kathleen is more pleasant to look at.

Kathleen had amazing hair in this one. I wonder if I never noticed that before.
