TNG and DS9 uniform sets? Yes please.

Nice, and on top of that apparently if you pre-order from Amazon you not only get all that sweet stuff in the Collector' Edition but you also get an officer for you crew that just so happens to be Borg.

I'm going to be a "good boy" and at least wait until I play the beta some first, but chances are I'm pre-ordering it.

Resistance is Futile?

Damnit, I don't feel good about that one at all. That reference was far too easy...

Yeah. I feel bad about setting it up. It really should never have happened.

So, using the open beta to see if you'll commit to the purchase? Which version/store did you preorder from?

I'm already committed to the purchase, there's no question about that. I just want to play it as soon as possible. Due to lack of funds, I just got the regular version from EB, but I might up that to the collector's edition after Christmas.

Okay, I'm going to just throw this out here now. If we have enough people here that are going to be playing the game we should team up and make a Runners fleet.

Hell yes. I'm probably going to go Klingon as soon as possible though.

So long as you're not a "serious" Klingon. Those people who take Klingons and klingonese seriously have too much time on their hands :P

I'll be sure to save a torpedo to shove up your ship's metaphorical tail pipe later on, but even if it comes down to having Runners fleets on both sides we should still try to group people together just for the hell of it.

No, everyone. Watch TNG 5x01 "Redemption Part 2". Klingon parties are insanely badass.

I only have DS9 on DVD, so the only Klingon parties I remember are from "Apocalypse Rising" (the one where Sisko and co pretend to be Klingons) and the wedding episode, and neither seemed fun :(

That doesn't look very fun :( I hope the Klingons will one day explain why they keep selectively speaking Klingons at random moments.

I'll probably have a Federation alt, but Klingon will be my main. They just seem to fit with my play-style more. Plus, I always play the "bad" guys.

As to Klingons only speaking Klingon intermittently, it's a combination of Translation Convention when they're on their own, and the Universal Translator when they're around humans.

Can you name your officers? If so I can only imagine how many "Seven of Nines" there will be from people who ordered from Amazon.

Also if anyone has played Bridge Commander then they may want to look into Star Trek Excalibur.

I am currently trying to think of good LRR temed ship names.

Don't know if I mentioned it, but I pre-ordered this yesterday.

I I build an attack ship, I know EXACTLY what I'm going to call it, (but it's a secret). It's also not LRR related.

I could totally see building a "USS Sakimori" though :p

Ship serial numbers had damn well better be randomly generated. Because otherwise there's gonna be a fuckton of NCC-1337's.
