We seem to be a bit more stable having updated to 1.7.0 version of the modpack.
I presume a combination of DM's work and the update to the pack but it seems to be doing well so far (fingers crossed)

Hi McJty, welcome! I run the current batch of community servers for LRR fans (one vanilla, one with the Direwolf20 pack), and we were seeing some very odd behavior out of version 1.6.2 of the pack. It would only take a couple minutes after starting the server up for it to go completely unresponsive: both the CPU and RAM were pinned, it wouldn't accept any console commands, and I'd have to kill the process instead of doing a clean shutdown. This behavior persisted even after moving the world spawn point (to load a different set of spawn chunks) and disabling as many other chunkloaders as I could.

As a last-ditch effort I updated the server to version 1.7.0 of the mod pack, and suddenly everything started to behave, almost disturbingly well. We're still seeing some minor tick loss (roughly 60-70 ticks per minute), but at least players can get onto the server now, so I'm not going to complain too much about it.

Thanks for the whitelist. It is appreciated. However as you can imagine I'm really busy (I'm currently busy with my 16th mod) and also have a few youtube series of my own and my own patreon server that I barely manage to visit even.

On the other hand, I *might* pay your server a visit at some point. Not sure yet

For those not on the Discord we are talking about archiving the FTB Direwolf server this weekend, and switching over to FTB Beyond to align with Mine O'Clock (not the same seed).

If that happens, and everyone is fine with me streaming from the server, I will join!

My modded server is now running FTB Beyond version 1.2.1! I copied the whitelist from the DW20 server, so if I had you listed already you should be able to connect and go.

hey I noticed there are no recipes for the chunk loaders is that intentional or do they need to be enable in a config or are they just not finished in this mod-pack?

There's the FTB Chunkloading (shift click on your claimed chunks), although that doesn't seem to be working for me.

Alright, just an FYI if anyone is as crazy as I am and wants to fight a Chaos Guardian, they are currently bugged and if you fly too far away from them after encountering them they will despawn and you will never be able to harvest their crystal. As such the crystals at Cardinal North and Cardinal West are now unharvestable

If this gets fixed in any upcoming patches it might necessitate an End reset, so forewarning for anyone with infrastructure in there.
