Well, that was fun, even though I had a high ping.

Yep, I enjoyed that, once I figured out why my game was stuttering more than a 3 year old on a triple espresso laced with PCP.

I've never had a sniper give me such problems as a spy before.

A lot of time spent as a sniper against (mostly less effective) spies has trained me to always be looking everywhere, and to never stay in the scope for more than five seconds or so. And it turns out the SMG is really good for hunting you down! I usually use jarate, but I may have to switch after seeing how well that worked.

Yeah, the jarate doesn't do much. It's the SMG that can sweep wide areas and hurt at mid range that can do the damage.

Hey guys, sounds like you had a lot of fun. Sorry I missed it, I had to practice driving (darn life getting in the way). I'm sure Kobra won't let me off that easily though, hopefully I can make the next one. :P

If I'd have known that I'd have practiced shooting out your tires.

I've just come to realize why I almost never use the standard weapons anymore. I suck horribly with them.

Yeah, I think demoman and medic are the only two I really use mostly standard weapons. And those are two of my least played classes, which may be part of it.

I remember when I used to play, as I got better, I actually started to go back to the stock weapons. The pyro's standard flamethrower especially gets a lot better once you get good enough to use the compresses air alt-fire to reflect rockets, etc.

I never found a reason to not use the backburner, the extra airblast cost isn't that bad and the surprise gank potential is awesome. Then again I tend to play pyro like a sneaky bastard and ambush people.

I REALLY miss the spy toys! Your Eternal Reward is the greatest spy knife ever and I'd AT LEAST want Cloak and Dagger! Man the old TF spy was amazing.

think what I personally miss is not being able to play as a soldier who is damn near unkillable because of all the HP regen/gain gear. That and playing as a pyro with no auto-crit secondary weapon

We doing anything this weekend?

Also I cannot stress enough. NO MATTER the class, NO MATTER the load out, please switch to a default load out because there are many bugged items. Ones I've personally noticed.

YER: No disguise option.
Anything engineer: Buildings destroyed on death or locker interaction.
Demoman swords/axes: PERMANENT -25 hp reduction that CANNOT be healed.
Medic Crusader's Crossbow: You cannot regenerate ammo upon death or lockers. Only pick ups.

These apply when they are your current load out and the server negates them and reverts you to stock load out.

Having the huntsman equipped on sniper also means you only start with twelve bullets, rather than twenty-five. I'd imagine other weapons with different ammo counts might have a similar effect.

If you're planning something for this weekend, keep in mind Memo's planning an End Raid on the Minecraft server Saturday, and There's a Crossing the Streams on Sunday

Unless the crew wish to Cross the Streams in TF2 (which would be awesome), we may have to postpone any planned activities until next week.

Though anyone can feel free to message me on steam if they want to have a scrap.

I'm firing up TF2 now for some action. I'll see if someone is there or if I go to find another server.
