You really have to be looking out for her, but it's a fantastic touch. I love that LRR is moving more into putting these subtle things into the background of scenes.

....I noticed her the first time. It's hardly the first time they've done that gag, so I was expecting it anyways.

Brilliant, as always. I have lots of friends who play MtG, so this made sense. I demand a "There's Magic Everywhere In This Bitch" t-shirt.
Glory to LRRstotzka!

Yeah, once one crew member then another emerged from hiding I was just waiting for the rest of them to pop up in sequence. ;)
I wasn't disappointed. :)

I wanted to go even further with the gag, but there wasn't anyone else who could have been in the store, plot-wise.

Well if my pattern continues (I visited LRR 2009, didn't visit 2010, and am returning for 2011 with Mimm in tow), in about 3-4 years there'll be a full on British Fanvasion for LRR to exert authority over and exploit for massive damage.

This video makes me want to spend most of what little money I have to buy cards for a game I've never played before (played Pokemon and YuGiOh though). Secret advertising for Wizard of the Coast or accidental awesomeness? Who knows. :0

Also, how does one build an Angry Kitties deck?

I can think of a couple of ways to make this deck a lot better now that I look at it. Also, don't freak out about the mana amount. I've won plenty of games with 4 or 5 land out. The deck actually runs surprisingly well on three mana, as long as two of those are plains. That said, now I want to tinker with it.

From Kathleen's post in the Escapist thread for this video. There are also 2 other LRR deck builds listed in the thread if I recall correctly. Matt and James(?) I think.

Angry Kitties deck was auctioned off at Desert Bus.

Absolutely fan-bussing-tastic episode guys!!! Everyone else already said everything I was thinking of saying so I will simply state that one of you guys needs to play soldiers if you don't already.

On a COMPLETELY unrelated note, have I mentioned I play Soldiers?

That's an acceptable substitute within the LRR crew social circle.

It is now almost 15 months since the video first aired, it has remained one of my all time favourites all through that time, with countless viewings, and I only *just* noticed her there. That scene transition had always bugged me for lingering too long, and now I know why.

Sean only noticed her the second time he watched the video, but I noticed her the first time and wasn't sure why he didn't. I guess he was actually pretty fast in spotting her.

I am pleased to report that I shared this video with a friend today and he pronounced it "fucking funny". And now he knows what I'm talking about (at least a little) when I make random LRR references over Magic.

Been a huge fan for quite some time now, but new to the forums. This video made me and a few of my friends to try out MTG. I have very few hobbies left.

I have a question about the app that was used in this video. I looked for it recently and was not able to find it in the android app store. Is it still available or is it an IOS only thing.

Otherwise great video! I try to watch this one at least once a month, until I buy the dvd of course :)

IIRC the life-counter app that shows up in the video is this, which is iOS only.

On Android, I use this life-counter app for tracking life totals (clean and simple, and keeping the history is more useful than you'd think at first), and MTG Familiar for other features (card database, Momir simulator, etc).
