Re: NEW VIDEO - Cleaning Day [commodoreHUSTLE]
Oh man, sooo good. Every single line was either perfectly suited to the characters, expertly delivered, or both. Also, I totally had no prior knowledge of this episode or anything of the sort.
For reals though, I wasn't present for any of the scenes at James's house, so it's good to see they turned out so well. I (had to / opted to) stay behind and ensure that Mt. Costume became a reality. Well... Paul, Alex and Cam did the bulk of the work, I mostly supervised... ok, I dicked around with the props. Happy?

It's good that they show the difficulties involved with something that we all have to do from time to time. Marathon viewing of The West Wing.

Ha, I was inadvertently and inadvisedly introduced to the west wing whilst studying for an exam. We managed to get through seasons 2-5 and still passed.

Why did I know the salami exchange? How did I know exactly what you were talking about? Did you mention it on twitter or something?

It was referenced in the latest LRRcast, during the question about Crapshot inspiration.

It was mentioned on Twitter during actual cleaning of the Moonbase, I believe. As was James's marathoning of The West Wing.

That's basically how cleaning works here too; you start out trying to do everything and eventually are playing MTGO and wondering how much Card Kingdom would charge for your new standard deck.
Did anyone actually eat the salami, or was it just a prop?

Yeah, I need to marathon West Wing too...
Hmm... 'marathon' should mean a huge trek along great distance that is physically exhausting... nowadays we use it for meaning 'sitting on our ass for a long time watching tv'...

I was genuinely surprised when, towards the end of the day, I think it was James mentioned that you'd all "been filming for about 5 hours". Time really does fly when you're having fun... and yes, helping steady the camera / jib was actual fun.

It was still intact the last time I saw it... some poor soul (souls?) at LRR will be eating a crap ton of salami sandwiches for the foreseeable future. I sure hope they remembered to wash it.

Outside of The Story of Beej, which gets its own rank, this is my favorite episode.

This episode was great for gifs :p
Re: Cleaning Day
I love Graham just casually reading Ulysses like a boss. (I am a novice Runner so apologies if this is a running gag I missed)

Can we get a full image of that 'rules of Desert Bus' banner? Great vid as always.

Enjoyed the episode.
Unrelated, since Saturday I've been marathoning The West Wing and am now up to Episode 16 of Season 1.

When in doubt, dickbutt.

Youtube's being a Dickbutt again, letting me watch this on 240p only. Anyone else have the same problem?

I'm not sure why, but Alex's ending line just made me crack up
