re: chim chimineny, i believe the line was supposed to be incorrect, as he was making fun of matt for knowing the song so well. also it sounds better. chim cher-ee doesn't have the same effect.

Moar Brad!

Postby Evil Jim » 09 Dec 2008, 20:45

I keep seeing the preview pic for CH3 here with the two rubbing their hands together & wicked plans on their minds & thinking of the similar scene Hell's Kitchen. Will Brad ever make it into Commodore Hustle? It's a shame he isn't in more LRR in general. I really feel he's a positive compliment to the crew.

TL;DR version:
Moar Brad, pls.

I really liked Kathleen's delivery in the Grindstone scene. It's kinda funny how Graham is embarrassed by his former D&D gaming days, as if that makes him any bit more a nerd than Star Trek.

Question: Is Kathleen still learning how geeky Graham was before they met even they have know each other for years?

In real life, Kathleen is fully aware of how much of a geek I am.

Yes, the bookcase behind Jess is where we store our tabletop games. Munchkin is sitting atop Star Munchkin, in fact. (The bookcase behind Ryan is one of the places we store our RPG supplements.)

Must ask:

1 - Does the NESbox work?
2 - Can I have it?

I actually asked Graham about this during shooting. I didn't think it was inthe song - he reminded me that it goes through a couple variations in the song. Having been a solid 10 years since I last saw mary poppins, I took his word of it.

1. it works neither as an xbox 360 or a nes
2. no.

I actually asked Graham about this during shooting.

It has also been some time since seeing it, and I really did think that variation existed. We'll go with someone's previously postulation that Adam is intentionally misquoting it.

I think I am half a "someone", because I said that if he knew that he wouldn't have care, thus would have did it wrong.

Oh, she knows the full depth of my geekery.
While she doesn't fully match-up, she holds her quite well in a geek-off.

It's probably worth noting that, assuming no shenanigans, it's a 1 in 25 billion 600 million chance (25,600,000,000) of rolling 8 consecutive natural 1s on d20s.

It's much better odds for rolling 6 consecutive 1s on d6s, only 1 in 46,656.

As Kathleen has said, she enjoys editing the written word for fun. That in its self is quite geeky.

Wow, that link to the nerd fight video was amazingly appropriate considering what is currently happening with the Canadian government. Especially since it was from 2005. Btw, my knowledge of Canadian govt comes solely from http://hijinksensue.com/2008/12/10/la-menace-fantome/ so my observation may be taken with a grain of salt...
