commodoreHUSTLE 09 - Growl
Re: commodoreHUSTLE 09 - Growl
Just a little thing, don't know how many british users watched 8 out of ten cats on friday but this week had a video SO similar to graham's bear suit and bear antics in this weeks CH it's creepy. It just strikes as a really wierd coincidence.
(unless its like bear catching week or somthing)

Keep up the good work!

I noticed the yellow paint was only on the wall for one moment, and then seemed to be gone a few seconds later. So you didn't actually spray the wall huh?
Re: commodoreHUSTLE 09 - Growl
The paint was there the whole time. If it didn't look like it was there, it's because the camera moved.

awe, my bad. Great episode overall; the bear protection suit was especially awesome.

BE YE BEARKIN?
Also, was the phrasing "it would be best not to bait him" intentional on the part of the sharks, since they are seafaring?

Would I be correct in assuming that the sudden Ode to Joy interlude was the result of Paul 'fixing' the satellite radio/etch-a-sketch with perfect timing?

Re: commodoreHUSTLE 09 - Growl
So sometimes when I try to sing a song in my head, I'll realize that it sounds a lot like another song, and at a certain part in the first, I'll always segue into the second, without fail.
I discovered that the Runners Rap makes me think of Gangsta's Paradise, but I don't know the lyrics to it, so instead I segue into Amish Paradise.
"The Runners are back-crack-crack on the street
With a dot-dot-circle, we're the triad to beat...fool
If you've come to visit, you'll be bored to tears
We haven't even paid the phone bill in three hundred years
But we ain't really quaint, so please don't point and stare
We're just technologically impaired
Been spendin' most our lives living in an Amish paradise..."

Didn't read through the entire thread but I would like to say that I felt there was far too much bass on your guys music video. Not sure if anyone else felt this way also but I sure thought that it could have been turned down a notch or two
If you watch the movie 'Jaws' backwards, its a movie about a shark that keeps throwing up people until they have to open a beach.

I'm bad to do that with "Straight Outta Compton" and "Knock You Out." It usually goes, for me:
Don't call it a comeback
Crazy muthafucka named Ice Cube
etc, etc.

I actually did that just yesterday while we were playing Rock Band, mixing Red Hot Chili Peppers with Electric Six:Kdz wrote:I'm bad to do that with "Straight Outta Compton" and "Knock You Out." Wow. Awkward.

They just had several lines with very similar lyrical structure.
Also, guess which one has the more creepy video.

All suspects are guilty. Period! Otherwise they wouldn't be suspects, would they?

Having seen the video for Gay Bar, I cannot imagine the peppers topping it on creepiness.

Will we need the TimeTravel app to listen to this podcast?

Re: commodoreHUSTLE 09 - Growl
As has been mentioned elsewhere, it was an extremely full weekend.
At this point it looks like the podcast will either be recorded tonight or held over for a double dose next weekend. But I dunno. We'll see.

I'd hope a recording tonight, just because if it's going to be that epic of a podcast for cHustle, I think it may be too much for two podcasts.

you could just cut askLRR to piss off Matt, so the recording would theoretically take less time.

Or how about you cut What We're Playing Now, because going two weeks without answering any question at all might make the backlog so massive it'll achieve sentience and take over the world.

They really should do like a super AskLRR and tear through like 5 pages or something.

Hmm...maybe a supplemental LRRcast that is actually just reading questions from AskLRR?

Oh I think it's fine if a lrrcast is missed. It's not like they don't do enough for us fans.
~I'm probably not serious~
Oh and you can just call me Dave.
No need for the whole screen name.

Yeah but that thread is getting so long. I wonder if it would be good to lock it for a month, so they can catch up.
