Was it just me, or did anybody else think of this kids in the hall sketch every time Paul got referred to as Switzerland?

So, I watched it again, and I liked it a bit more (the first time I watched it in full screen, which just doesn't look as nice, and that might have impaired my comedy receptors), but it still felt like it just meandered, and there were not as many jokes, and yet it was the longest one yet. Don't get me wrong, the more LRR the better, but maybe cutting out a subplot or shortening one down would have made it better.

Also, for some reason I felt like it was being implied that Tim and Geoff were going to get Paul and Graham in trouble out in the woods (by, like, getting them surprised by a bear, or in trouble with the cops, or something), and it felt like a bit of a let-down for it to be LARPers. Granted, that's really the only place it could go, but it feels like it was such an easy and overdone joke (making fun of LARPers) that it just felt like a letdown that the entire 19 minute long episode had been leading up to it.

Of course, it's possible that this was the point, and the entire video was a meta-joke at it's own expense, but its more likely that I hang out with people who make fun of LARPers a lot, and thus the joke is more tired to me.

There were some great bits in there, and Geoff and Tim have kept up this really great chemistry, but I just didn't like it as much. I heartily look forward to the next episode, though!

I thought that too, then realized that Morgan was Heart, and Morgan isn't with them for the moment.* So maybe it was intentional.

*The way it's going, tens, potentially hundreds of thousands of moments, but still.

Something else I was thinking...

Bill hasn't really gotten a good chunk of the cH story for a while. I really thought part of this episode would focus on Morgan's absence and how it affects him (or not, whichever's funnier).

lol, yes it was time for "thats what she said" to die. Fortunatly my roommate and I have began the Pun-tastic Voyage, which should keep just as much lame humor around.
Probably the best episode yet, though I think "Grizzly Man" might have been a more appropriate movie to rent if you wanted to showcase bear mauling as a response to severe stupidity.
Wow, I can't spell today, so I'm gonna end this post.

If you want a mauling, yes. But Project Grizzly is about a guy making a suit to get close to bears. It's unintentionally hilarious.

But the best part is that his suit really did render him nearly immobile, check out this video to see the progression. By the final iteration, he can barely move.

If the hilarity were unintentional, would they put the review on the box that said it was hilarious?

Reminds me of the guy who convinced his friend to test out the sharkbite suit by putting him in it and tying meat onto it.

Has nobody noticed how Graham is wearing a suit jacket with Jeans at the funeral. Very Classy Graham.

I thought that was pretty funny too, although I didn't notice it until the second time I watched it.

Okay, I watched it a second time, and I have to say I enjoyed it more the second time around. Still not as good as the last episode, but better in my mind. I really enjoyed the synthesized Robocop theme.

I sure didn't.

I didn't move to Victoria until Gr. 11 when PE was no longer a requirement.

HAHAHA, wow.
I can't believe someone else noticed that.

Obviously I just put that in there to be funny, and I liked picking a number as a way to root out "the brains" but making the number 2 was a definite reference to a certain high school PE teacher of ours.

Wow, man I can't wait to get the cHustle episodes on that cHustle DVD you said you're probably going to do (as separate from the main LRR DVD). This is just brilliant. Not only did it involve a LARPing parody but LARPing about the Bear-Shark Wars? Holy crap.

Too much awesome for me to comment on. Etch-a-Sketch was brilliant.

It seems that you have officially transferred from the more setup focused episodes to the somewhat story driven and overarching plot referencing commodore Hustle it is.

Bravo.

I hope we can expect an appropriately awesome season finale.
