The first Saints Row was terrible and made me angry, but Graham's persistent fanboying is making me want to give the series a second try.
This and everything else I've seen about 4 make it look really rad-iculous.

As I haven't played Saints Row 2, I recommend starting with Saints Row 3. That shit is hilarious. Saints Row 4 takes everything in SR3 and kicks it up a couple of notches.

I never played Saints Row 1, but enjoyed 2, found 3 to be hilarious and 4 was absolutely amazing!
I would give the series another try and starting at Saints Row 3 would be a good start.

2 is a fine place to start, it's still plenty fun.
But 3 is when they reallllly hit a stride.

Saints Row 2 was the first one I played and loved it, and 3 was so good!

Never played a Saints Row game, I missed the part where they stopped being GTA knock-offs and started the dildo jokes.
