Just like ENN, sometimes there's stories that don't make it, or funny stuff that happens.

I'd like to have a continent sized solar fuck.
Yes I went there. And into the wrong topic as it turns out. Fail.^^

Re: Rejected - Into the Breach
Are you posting all your bonus content to Blip now? I know it is out of your control but I get the exact same add for a online fashion retailer in front of every video. Where can I pay $20 a year so I do not have to sit through the ads?

Why no youtube?
Re: Rejected - Into the Breach
We've re-evaluated how worthwhile it is to put our stuff on YouTube vs Blip, and Blip simply pays out better advertising share, more frequently.
It's a business thing, sorry guys. It may only a couple bucks per video, but it really helps.
Blip gets good ads too, so they cycle fairly frequently, thankfully.

Doesn't bother me, more money for LRR is more funny for us in the future.

Re: Rejected - Into the Breach
I'm less annoyed at the ads being there and more annoyed that the ads don't cycle every video. That's probably the most annoying part.

I wish they would too, so I'm with you there.

Re: Rejected - Into the Breach
Here's a tip. If watching multiple videos, start them at the same time and just remove your headphones, then pause them all as soon as the add stops, the adds still play, the people still make money, and you never have to worry about videos buffering halfway through since they all load while watching the first.
And yes, the west field shopping center ad was a pain in the ass.Though i found it ironic that it was on blip.tv. which is most well known for lrr and tgwtg.com, seeing as westfield is located here in melbourne, and you guys are in canada and the us respectively.

The ads are targeted to where you are, so that makes a lot of sense actually.

Re: Rejected - Into the Breach
oh, that... sort of explains it. but i still get alot of american based ads...
Still, i wish they'd re-impliment the little "Click here to skip" button that used to pop up after 5 seconds.

Re: Rejected - Into the Breach
I think ads are country specific. People in Canada would not see ads for Australian merchants.
I want LoadingReadyRun to be rewarded for its hard work. However I have been spoilt by being a Publisher's Club member - I have become used to getting my internet comedy with out advertisements. I am also becoming used to paying for my content online.

The one that really irks me is that nike shoe one.
It has caused my browser to crash twice.

Re: Rejected - Into the Breach
What really annoys me about that ad is that there's an X button on top of the ad, and if you scroll over to click it, text appears that says "Click here to skip ad in 30 seconds"
But 30 seconds is the entirety of an ad that's just the sole of a sneaker and its treads playing musical notes.
I don't mind ads, I just don't like being tricked.

It's there because if you click freestyle or challenge, a different timer comes up, but the original timer continues to run down. It's dumb, but it makes sense.
