Rejected clips and bloopers from Mullet Bandit & The Blondes, which does sound like a band name.

I am the king under the mountain and this is the fist post in this thread

BOW BEFORE ME!!! (still a thing)

Kathleen uncontrollably cracking up made me uncontrollably crack up.

'What's up your butt?' is the name of my indie band

You know it's a good video series when the stuff left on the cutting room floor is STILL hilarious.

They're a Village People cover band.

You like to go down under and inspect her cave dwellings?

Eh?

Naw that was terrible.

I just it funny that the article kept mentioning "Canadian Researchers" every time it referred to them. Like the phrase "Canadian Girlfriend" meaning a fake girlfriend, who existence can't be disproven because "she lives up in Canada".

Sounded like the article was making up these researchers.

My friends had a thing going where anytime someone said, "What what" (which happened with surprising frequency), the response HAD to be "In the butt." So... yeah.

I like the idea of "canadian researchers". I feel I should be allowed to quote some for my next paper.

As a funny bonus, Canada is one of the 3 most advanced nations in my field.

You can quote LRR. They are "researchers" in Canada. Maybe not the most reliable in some fields, but still Canadian Researchers none-the-less...

The cut-out stories from these rejected things actually seem like they should be in the actual episode. Of course, that's your decision, but I still find them awesomely funny.

They are cut for time, not for failure.

Time or pacing, Graham? Genuinely curious. And if time, is that Escapist preference, or because you know longer videos generally don't get watched? (The stats on this aren't kind, it turns out. I make videos for work, so I know.)

"A recent breakthrough in this area was achieved by a research team from Canada (Stark 2011)." :D

Timing, mostly. Pacing is handled with the tight editing, and while the pacing itself would be affected by lengthier videos, I only cut stuff to keep these videos shorter.

The Escapist doesn't weigh in on how long things should be, but I think that's partly because they know that we've been doing this for a while. You're right, longer videos are daunting for a viewer, and shorter is preferable.

You guys would probably watch a 10-minute Feed Dump (and have done, with PhailhaĆ¼s), but it's not my first choice.

In fact, episodes 02 and 03 are over 6 minutes, and I'm not even 100% happy with that. But we shot too much good stuff :D
