The best part was Alex giving the middle finger on behalf of hungry people everywhere.

Also, the IFOCE eater profiles are a node of lulz.

Especially this one: http://www.ifoce.com/rankings.php?action=detail&sn=20

I like how everything Kathleen says about competitive eating sounds like it should be a joke, but is actually true.

Also, was Alex trying to sing Ievan Polkka at the end there?

I think he was.

Once again, I struggle to not burst out laughing in my workplace. I nearly failed when Alex impersonated a turtle laying eggs.

Hopefully the baboon will be in the Rejected Feed Dump video.

Alex singing the Levan Polka? A real laugh was produced. Really, it started reaching AAAL levels of shenanigans at the end. I LOVE IT.

Best one yet, alex' evil laugh was histerical.

Wouldn't a fact about the royal family of england count as a political fact of the week?

Man, you could fill an entire video with Alex derping away and I'd still watch it. Magic.

The fun thing is that when Alex pulled out his smiling Miku plushy, I had my own Miku plushy behind me, who has a horrified/shocked expression instead, so it went perfectly with his scheming ideas.

Although, a horrified Miku plushy tends to go with just about every situation.

That was pretty much the prime appeal of Ask An Alex Live.

I thought the prime appeal was watching Elomin degrade into a whimpering mass in the chat while Alex sucked on a penis-shaped lollipop.

Wait, like, a regular Miku looking horrified, or Hachune Miku?

wow, haturation levels are waaaaaay down this week, even with an injection of Alex. Would the market feel threatened by a complete lack of hats? We cross to our hatstistics expert, JackSlack. Jack?

The first thing I noticed is the low level of hats this week.

The second thing I noticed is that while I was generally amused the whole time, I cracked up at Graham at the end.

Thank you Iamafish. JackSlack here with the Hat Report, here on Action 9 news. Shocking developments have shaken the hat market to its core! Namely, this.

Image

That's Alex, not wearing a hat and thus in direct contravention of the Alex Must Wear a Freaking Hat Act of 2010. It was adopted by the International Hat Operations Police (over pancakes) after Alex wore this mullet. Normally Alex has been very good about obeying this rule; often wearing not only a hat but goggles to prevent any possibility of hat slippage. His indication that he will no longer be honouring this treaty has sent the market into a tailspin. Far from fearing haturation, the hat market now faces severe hattrition.

Image

As you can see, we hit a low of 8% hats this week, the lowest we've seen since episode four and a shocking 25% of the level we last saw with Alex forces in play. The fear of the market is that if Alex is withdrawn and replaced with, say, Matt or Paul (or the James or Jer forces that have been speculated upon but not yet emerged) then the entire hat market may collapse. It's having an effect on other markets as well.

Image

The collapse of the hat market has likewise taken out the NO hat market, a very unexpected development. This, along with a reversal of the promising growth in the non-prescription eyewear category, allowed prescription eyewear to hit a massive 91%! Those numbers are real, people. 91%. This is great for investors in that category, but it feels like disaster is looming.

For Action 9 News, I'm JackSlack.
