When life gives you skeletons, sternly ask where life got them.

I officially propose that you guys shift the focus of desert bus away from helping sick kids, to raising money to buy that town. We can go back to helping kids next year, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity!

Man, Kathleen really wanted to use that Shelley quote.

As she should. It suits her. :)

I don't know if the skull story was about my hometown of Stamford, CT, but that definitely happened here in the past week so I choose to believe this is the case.

To provide a summary of the details: A moving company packed up a bunch of junk from a hoarder's house, found 2 human skulls and thought "Meh, not my problem." The people at the dump found them and thought "Well this is highly irregular."

Turns out the owner bought them on the internet, so the cops thought: "Well thank god, internet skulls aren't shady at all!" and dropped the case.

To answer the question in the stinger: Yes, I have done that (without the quote though)
"I wouldn't call myself an evil genius. Simply genius will suffice."

$1.1mil? Won't even buy you a decent house in Melbourne these days.

Bargain. Though the commute'll be a drag.

Decorating with human bones, you say? Ever heard of the Capuchin Crypt in Rome?

It's actually pretty freaking awesome; they used literally every kind of human bone. One of the rooms, for example, has butterfly designs made of two pelvises and a skull, and a lot of the more basic designs are made from vertebrae. If you are interested in anatomy, it is pretty fascinating seeing the bones arranged like that.

Now where can I find me some pelvises...

Did anyone else find that Kathleen's maniacal laugh was a bit *too* realistic?
