What Would the Loading Ready Shadowrunners be Like?

Postby chaucer345 » 03 Jun 2015, 04:59

I'm just wondering what archetypes each of the cast fits best (mostly for the pun).

Kathleen is obviously an insect shaman who decided it just wasn't intense enough for her while Paul is a Decker/Rigger, but the rest are more hard to pin down.

I'd say it's a reasonable assumption that Alex is the one who's just really, obscenely good with guns and knows everything about weapons.

Kathleen obviously a cat shaman.

James is the fixer, so he'd be...uh, the fixer.

Paul obviously the decker.

I'd agree with Jam on Alex. Gun-nut street samurai.

Cameron...is a tough one. Cameron is very cerebral, very dry. I'd say maybe a decker or a rigger, but he doesn't strike me as mechanically inclined. A mage, maybe?

Beej is the corporate wageslave they accidentally get fired by stealing his password or something.
It's all over but the crying. And the taxes.

I sort of peg Cam as being a Technomancer. Contemplating the depths of the Resonance, dealing with AI's, and whatnot.

Mostly I just expect he'd love being able to hate people's computers to death over the Matrix with his mind.

I think Cam would be the guy back at the base who custom makes all the team's explosives and patches them up after a run, and helps to tune up people's cyberware. Lots of dry, sarcastic comments about getting yourself shot like an idiot.

EDIT: I think Graham would probably be the super sarcastic fixer, where James would be the team leader mage or something, making sure everyone actually does what they are supposed to.

Cam is the Dragon that hires the team for insanely dangerous missions just for the fun of it. "I can get the mcguffin in the blink of an eye. However, I prefer watching you struggle while I drink my two thousand years old brandy".
