Man, I loved that video. And the amount of effort you go to in getting just the right hat for exactly how idiotic you want the character to be is great. I am also going to try this suggestion for a cape too, do you cut the skirt into a cape shape, or just leave it as is, sewn together?

From the "Guy with a Cellphone Man" Loading Time, I think they said they just slit it down the side and used it. No need for shaping.
