Loading Time 01 - Emergency Situation

Postby Paul » 31 Jul 2008, 14:10

Big thanks to Tim (aka Proudfoot) for setting this up. In theory, you may be seeing more in the next little while.

Since Tim is shooting and editing Loading Time all by himself, all comments/praise/slander/begging for more should be directed to/at him.

Highly enjoyable!
I thought it was a great addition. Another way to placate the rabid LRR-hungry hordes. And the couple of jokes at the end were lovely.
Wow - this really is the highest post week of all time! And there's a podcast tonight (hopefully)!

Very awesome. I knew there was a new greenscreen when they showed the picture of Morgan sitting in front of the huge greenwall.

Is the LRROUB really small? It sure feels so. Or is there more than one room in the LRROUB?

When I heard about this, I was almost expecting a completely comprehensive look that the video, like from writing to shooting to editing (though watching someone edit, I'm sure, is boring, and I dunno how exciting watching someone write is, either).

Have the papers been told about the yetis living on the LRROUB yet?

I almost lost it during the shot with Matt and the boom mic. It's cool that you guys actually got like... a space! For things!

Bravo, proudfoot and LRR.

I can only imagine the destructive power of 2 matts.

They could -double- the flame posts when a videogame is delayed!

T'was good fun to see. At first I thought that there were only video of Morgan behind the desk and no real need for pants during shooting but upon looking back I found myself being wrong... just felt that I had to point it out.

I have never made a flame post about a game delay, ever. I go into any game release expecting the date to be wrong.
I've worked at EB long enough to know.

Definitely cool, and it's awesome to get a shot of the orbiting underground bunker (Which clearly has a biodome outside the green screen room).

Shooting is definitely a lot more "professional" than I perceived, but then prior to this I'm not sure what I percieved an LRR shoot to be like. It's great to get this window into your enterprise (Which I assume is also docked somewhere on the moon bunker).

Wow, nice freudian slip, there, Graham.
The existence of the secret crew forums are slowly, but surely, being revealed 8)

Yeah, but seriously, this was really cool! I don't think I realized just how much of a production you guys put on until right now. How the shots have to be explained to the actors, sometimes things have to be shot 15 times or more before they're just right... I definitely know now that it's really not as easy as it looks.

There is no secret forum.

One thing I would be interested in seeing would a short overview of the editing process.

*fan girl scream* OH MY GOD GIBB! */scream*
I actually screamed that, too. O.o

Anyway. YOU FOUND GIBB! -dances for joy-

Video = Epic Win

"Why are there two Matts?"
Which is weird considering my first reaction upon starting the video was "Whaa?! -pause- Oh.. That's not Matt.."

Also, in who's house/apartment on the moon is the Underground Orbiting Bunker located?

...

I can't wait for next Thursday now.. Off to listen to the podcast!

About halfway through watching this, I realized that you guys could use your studio to make some insanely high-quality porn.

Anything else I might have said in this post, I leave to your imagination.

I am torn.

On the one hand, I feel I should use this post to express my jubilation at seeing Matt's tummy.

On the other hand, for some odd reason, I think I am taken less seriously when I express my love for Matt, and there is something serious that I must express in addition to said jubilation.

That is; this was absolutely fantastic bonus material. If there was one of these for every single video I would watch it. I realize that such a thing is way too much work to ask you fellows to bother with.

Regardless, not to sound creepy, but this video seemed really personal. Like I could just walk into it and hang with you guys. And that seems like a good feeling for a video to produce in people.

Graham your slip the "secret" forums out there a bit to much.

Years ago I once had the idea to host my own forum for just me and my friends, unfortunately I'm not good at putting things together.

Besides it's not like we can get onto your "secret" forum so why so apprehensive.

Good job Proudfoot, you have infiltrated the LRR base of operations. COMPLETE THE MISSION!

(oh and nice job on the video :D)
