Things on my Stream (Paul's occasional solo stream)
Hey Everyone!
Graham, Kathleen and Beej are going to be in Detroit next Monday, so I will be holding down the stream fort in their absence. Instead of just GPLP without Graham, I have decided to call this time Things on My Stream and I have a few things I was thinking of doing, but I wanted to get your feedback on what you would like to see.
At the moment, the parts of the show will be:
Pre-Checkpoint - Throughout the week, I collect interesting/funny/weird video game stories for Checkpoint and then on Monday, Graham and Kathleen and I go through them and decided which have the potential to be Checkpoint stories. Writing and performing a full episode of Checkpoint by myself is not going to happen, but I can tell you about the stories that we would have been looking at this week.
AskPaul Live - While I am happy to answer questions while I am playing a game or during the LRRcast, this is an opportunity to ask me anything that might require a bit more involved answer or would take too long if the entire crew was answering.
Paul Plays Pleasing Pastimes - The traditional game streaming silliness you have come to expect from LoadingReadyLive. While GPLP is mostly devoted to making fun of bad games, for this show, I will be streaming games that a) are a little off the beaten path and b) I actually know how to play. I haven't quite decided on the game yet, but I have a few in mind that I think you will enjoy (and maybe want to try yourself!).
I will take the voting into account when deciding how much time to devote to each section. Also, let me know if there is other stuff you would like to see or ways you would like to interact with me live.
See you on Monday!

Yes to all these things, you charismatic stallion.

Why do these three options not ALL HAVE AN EQUAL NUMBER OF VOTES?!?
Yeah, I'm up for everything offered.

I would love to see some other games you have in mind. The Creeper World streams have made me buy the first one and I am very interested to see what else you would recommend.

Re: Things on my Stream (Paul's occasional solo stream)
I lean to three as well, especially if you are in the indie space (you suggested games a little off the beaten path!) as the LRR crew have a strategy guy, a few retro guys, etc. but seem to lack a dedicated indie gamer stream. I mean, if you're not into that, then it's no use forcing it, but I do think it seems to be the hole in your game range.

Increased support for all options.

Ooh ooh how about a graphic of you balancing video game consoles on your head?

Or just a LoadingReadyLive logo on Paul's head.
When the upkeep takes longer than the main phase, I know I've done my job well.

The GPLP logo with the Gs crossed out was hilarious, but I second this suggestion for a more permanent logo.
(did Graham ever get to see the PLP logo? I thought it was quite funny.)

Thanks to everyone who voted in the poll, it gives me some guidance as to what you want to see. I'm not saying that I won't completely ignore that guidance, but at least I know what I am ignoring .
I have now closed the poll and we will use this thread for any AskPaul questions that more involved than can be easily asked in the chat.

How much do you enjoy not having to deal with clients, now that you do LRR full time instead of web development?
Today was...aggravating for me, so yes, I'm projecting.

What does your typical working day look like? I'm imagining it isn't your standard 9-5 but am curious as to what kind of things eat up your time in the day-to-day of things.

With LRR being your full time job, and it being a rather creative job, do you still have time and/or energy for doing little creative solo projects?

Dear Dr. Paul: How have you been doing regarding your social anxiety issues?

Did you guys notice the LRR block thread in the MtG section. If so, what would you like to see in that block?

What is your favorite magic mechanic/keyword and why?

Have you ever thought of selling the season DVDs as digital downloads? Cos I would buy them.

Dear Dr. Paul, would you ever do more crossovers (such as on Unskippable with Yahtzee) with other Escapist personalities like Moviebob or Miracle of Sound?
