I, for one, am looking forward to watching a man (with a man's courage) overcome this challenge against all odds. Image

That's pretty sweet and I'm honoured that my pun birthed such a sweet image.

I'm preparing like I'm heading into a bomb shelter for the rest of my life. I am going to crush this thing and rise to the challenge that chat has put forth. I will not be defeated. I will not go quietly into the night. I will not vanish without a fight. Saturday... will be my independence day.

PS - Aerotrain, that is unbelievably sweet. It's almost like you guys are looking forward to this or something. I'm still having a hard time digesting that people want to actually watch me play stupid video games. I'm always super nervous before I start, haha.

It'll be super sweet. I'm looking forward to the parts I can catch. For what it's worth, nobody will begrudge you a nap/sleep part-way through, so do that if you're really hitting peak sleep madness. Us in chat will only jokingly mock you as we don't want you to get ill/die/go hollow.

Wait...this Saturday?!? I've got the whole long weekend off!

Yeessssssss, YESSSSSSSSS

I'll be the one poking you periodically when you seem to drift of, Adam; not to hurt, just to help you focus. :D

This should be awesome; I have faith in ya!

So... as long time lurker I have finally decided to start posting here just to join in the support for the 40+ hour Adam iniative.

I will be there as much as I can to support and offer virtual coffee as you struggles through this stream-purgatory:-)

Be strong adam... be strong! Remember: Its smashcut to a bleached white skeleton... not a dessicated sleep-deprived husk:-)

Haha, thanks Viking! Hopefully you stick around, the forums are a pretty sweet place.

I wouldn't worry too much about my health, I think I'm smart enough to realize when I need to tap out. That being said, I feel good about this weekend. Gonna crush it.

If Alex wont play Marlow Briggs, you need to. I think it would be a good fit.

So, I watched about fifteen minutes or so of Bayonetta on the stream, and I learned two or three things:

1. The developer has no idea of what a woman is, or how women actually talk.

1a. Apparently, people can talk without moving their face, mouth, or teeth.

2. The storytelling is taking its style, technique, and sophistication from Axe Cop.

Hideki Kamiya, creator of the original Devil May Cry, as well as Revengeance and Viewtiful Joe. "Over the top" is his baseline.

Also made Okami.

Yes... those smarts where on clear display as the hours hit 27 or so:-)

Anyways, thank you Adam for this madness! It was the funniest weekend I have had in a while! Lets do it again next week:-)

Thanks for the stream Adam. I wasn't able to catch mutch sadly. But it felt kind of like a mini Desert Bus marathon.

Also, I'm legitimately impressed you managed to go 3-0 in your first M15 draft after 30 hours of playing. That's pretty astounding. Sorry if I felt too aggressive or dickish in the chat during that whole section.

Thank you for the Prolonged Adam eXperience, it was great hanging out with you and chat all weekend. Though I'm glad we can go back to normal run-of-the-mill 14 hour streams now.

really?

I think she's a super interesting character, and way better developed than most.

Also, the storytelling is intentionally cheesy, like Axe Cop, which I also enjoy.

Say what you will, it made HIM laugh his ass off, when he was feeling a little discouraged, so I'd consider that mild troll/set-up a GREAT SUCCESS! :D

It would just be awesome if someone could find from one of his first streams where he says "im not going to say it" followed by a "3 months later" sponge bob panel and the recent trick.

Im sure one of your video wizards has that all queued up somehow.

Ah, the Spongebob joke. The best part about that reference is that it seems to work even though no child knows about Jacques Cousteau.

Trying to catch up. Dark Souls 2 part 1 is only 2 hours long, and part 2 starts out way ahead of where part 1 stopped. Is there any chance the missing part can be uploaded, or was it lost to the ages?
