Re: Mercenary Solutions 2
Yeah, you can't put Kathleen in a realistic fight scene. The other guys would die too quickly. And graphically.
Re: Mercenary Solutions 2
It'd be like trying to film a live action version of The Lion King. You're gonna lose a lot of boars.

Alex and Kathleen really, REALLY freak me out in these vids. They're really unsettling...

Where did the idea to shank him with a spade come from? That'd just be painful.

Only because the video we had planned, (which was a completely and total shift from our usual fare) couldn't be completed on time on account of it being a horrendous beast to edit down.
This was a fallback.

Maybe, but a fallback made of win.
Also, it was the source of much schadenfreude at the expense of the masses of people on IRC all trying to load the LRR site at once and causing it to fail, then having to sit and listen while Jer and Tally watched it in the Moonbase and wonder what was going on. But it would be a real dick move to gloat about that now. So I'm totally not gonna do that.

Not the best. I much prefer the original and this one felt lackluster. Oh, well - you can't get 'em all.

Yeah dude. Youtube totally doesn't exist. 'Cause that would be ridiculous.

Re: Mercenary Solutions 2
That was why I was sniggering. Because I was watching it on YouTube at the same time the IRC was full of people complaining that they couldn't get the site to load.
And yes, I am a big douchebag. At least I'm not a glittery one.

I watched it on the site fine, before anyone even responded on the forums. So, I'm not sure why others had a problem loading the site.

This was a great video for the observant editorial on current non peacetime locations around the world, and how people fighting is not considered people "fighting". Maybe its me but the waters seem to run deep on this one.

They were saying during Desert Bus that their Iphones don't have this problem, but Morgan's phone still occasionally sets the mic off...
Great video, and I enjoyed the podcast-style discussion of it whilst watching Desert Bus.

It's at least two, the video jumps just before the "... you can't rush professional courtesy."
Mercenary Solutions was my favourite video in season 6 glad to see the offspring of that.

This one is now one of my favorites. Nailed the ending perfectly with the spade! 3 dots, circle and full triangle from me

Spelling aside, it would be rather fitting if Kane was the one killing his brother.

+1. Not as good as the first, but still furrowly...forowly...thoroughly (AH!) entertaining. Also, I love that the country they were in was supposed to be called Derpistan.

Re: Mercenary Solutions 2
was the entrenching tool a TF2 reference, or just something you could use in public that wouldn't get you arrested? I enjoyed the hell out of this video, had a very MGS3 vibe to it.
