I think it's Schroder, right?

yeah. I saw someone post the name earlier. So what's the 'ten and twenties' reference?

Did you consider putting this up as a Commodore Hustle Xmas Special?

Not just TV3 in the the ninties. The huge amount of Peanuts cartoons and endless repeats of the Charlie Brown and Snoopy show on TV2 in the mid to late eighties are what brought us this video!

The tens and twenties is a Sally reference. Also from the Christmas special.

Wow, this was fantastic. Well written, Kathleen!

I think I caught most of the references (My family watches the Peanuts Christmas special every year. I missed it this year. Very sad.) I quite enjoyed watching it.

And yes, Matt played Schroder, though I may have spelled it wrong.

Well, it sounds German. So I'd bet it's spelled Schroeder.

The only thing missing was a big scene of all the characters doing the different dances... Anyways, I also really enjoyed the video, I really wasn't expecting such an outright parody.

So much joy.

I pretty much lost it at Paul-as-Linus. I may never regain it.

I don't think I've ever seen the animated cartoons, but my parents have a big book of comic strips I used to read pretty much cover to cover. I'm mostly working my references from that, so EPIC FRAMING WIN for Graham leaning on the hedge. :)

Nope, Charlie trumps Doc Osterman color inversions in my mind. Good on ya, though.

I'm still campaigning to create and trademark the character of Jernoopy, though (and all its subsidiary rights).

Very clearly 40 points of Good Grief damage. That was awesome.

I knew it was CB as soon as I saw Graham's sweater, but I couldn't tell how faithful a parody it was as Merry Christmas Charlie Brown isn't really shown so obsessively in the UK. I only saw bits and pieces of CB as an 80s kid.

I would like to put my vote in right now for DB4 to have Kathleen Caramelldansen alongside Jer Snoopydansen. Although I fear the win might be too much for the internets to handle.

Actually, the first time I saw a Dr. Manhattan shirt I thought "Oh! A blue Charlie Brown shirt. That's weird."

ah, there's the first problem. Matt looks like Tim, and this fact requires no proof, it justifies itself, like Modus Ponens. If we cannot assume such fundamental premises than the very foundations of logic themselves are undependable. I wouldn't want to live in a world where I didn't know with certainty that Matt looks like Tim.

if you've gone to wikipedia to look up modus ponens, then i win.

Except that Tim is rocking a fearsome beard currently and they really don't look alike at all.

It's true, the distinction has become clearer as the beard has progressed. It also helps when they don't have similar hair cuts.

wow. either you're all huge peanuts fans, or just insanely great actors. everything was spot on. as a huge peanuts fan, i love this video so much. it did make me kinda sad that a lot of people won't get half of these references, but damned if it didn't give me the warm and fuzzies.

I think that has less to do with who looks like whom & more to do with the fact that he was looking down at the keyboard while onscreen & not at the camera.

Yeah, that's what happened to me too. I expected Tim to be playing it.

How could Graham Stark strike against Arbour Day, Memorial Day, or Flag Day when they're not Calibrated in Canada to begin with?
