I really liked the vid. I knew it was a Peanuts throw back as soon as I saw the shirt! You should have wrote in something about a cactus somewhere, that would make an obscure reference to the Christmas comic strips. Only TRUE Peanuts fans would remember that!
Okay... this isn't as bad as it looks, but...

Re: Merry Christmas Graham Stark
Well, Jer refused to put on the big Snoopy suit, Graham didn't want to shave his head again, Tally took her role a bit too seriously when she started stalking Paul, and Kathleen's football scene was cut out when it nearly gave Graham a concussion. But yeah, it's tough translating a cartoon to real life.
Edit: Because Charlie Brown is bald, and Tally played Sally, who had an obsessive crush on Linus, played by Paul. Maybe that joke was a little too complex...

Re: Merry Christmas Graham Stark
I am a Peanuts UBER fan, and as this is meant to be a faithful parody of "Merry Christmas Charlie Brown", I only wanted to include characters that were in the Christmas special. That means no Woodstock, or spike. However, I couldn't get away with not making a few references to Peanuts things outside of the original special.
HOLY SHIT GUYS! BEARS!

If you don't get the Peanuts reference a lot of things wouldn't make sense. Like Tally saying "even me!" and everyone calling Graham by his full name.

I think you mean 'handegg'.
I LOL'd when Paul pulled out the lamp. Not quite as good as The C Word, but amusing nonetheless. Full marks, for a christmas special.
EDIT: Nevermind

Re: Merry Christmas Graham Stark
Honestly, I pondered "Peanuts Parody" upon perusing the page's title. "Merry Christmas Graham Stark" just triggered a memory of Charlie Brown to me.
And I'm pretty sure there's enough Jer-as-Snoopy (Joopy? Sner? Snerpy? Ugh.) dancing to go around.
EDIT: "Handegg"?

That was good, it made me all sad and depressed too.Took me about a minute to figure out it was peanut then I was just trying to figure who was who. The fact that Charlie Brown and Friends were on almost endless repeat on TV3 back in the early nineties here helped me alot in my endevour. Bravo.
Did you consider putting this up as a Commodore Hustle Xmas Special?

This vid was awesome and the only thing that seemed off was Tally asking for gift certificates instead of money, but I guess that would have ruined Paul's punchline.
I think you mean Jernoopy Gifs, sir.
Also, I think the giftcard line works, especially if it's one of those debit gift cards that credit card companies give, which is like saying I care about you just enough to get you specially repackaged money at a slight mark up.

That would explain how you also saw through my spoiler.
Also, I totally just got the "tens and twenties" reference. Neat.

Re: Merry Christmas Graham Stark
"A Charlie Brown Christmas is highly underrated by people who haven't seen it recently," says a friend of mine in his podcast on a couple crazy Christmas movies.
This video brought me so much joy, thank you. The writing & characterizations for both the Peanuts & LRR crew felt spot-on. The dialog & music was a great match.
I'll definitely be sharing it with my parents this week. I normally have to be a little selective since they wouldn't get some of the reference but I bet they'll enjoy this one.
You missed a great gag. When Paul said "Lights please" Graham should have turned the sunlamp on him.
P.S. Sound issues. But you probably already know that.
How about, for Christmas get them the Charlie Brown Christmas Special on DVD?

I got Graham/Charlie Brown right off the bat, but for some reason it took a bit to realize Jer was Snoopy. Once I did I nearly broke out laughing (which is a feat).
The video itself was a ton of fun folks. Thanks.

The only person I can't figure out is Matt. I can't remember the character's name. Awesome vid BTW. I like how Paul told the story of the birth of Christ and switched it for consumerism. Merry Christmas to all!

you know, I thought that was going to be a bitch about the commericalization of christmas. but something in Paul's speech gave it sort of rationality, faulty I know, but it made it actually funny. I find this a few other videos, and i really think it sets them apart from the nodoubt thousands of whiner who flood youtube annually.

Did anyone else see Graham & first think "Oh! A yellow Dr. Manhattan shirt"?
