Amazing video! What a fitting way to finish X ways to Y.
Sad but now it really feels like the year of LRR is coming to a end.
Can't wait to see whats to come next year.

Me upon finishing this video:
"Well they won't REALLY stop doing X ways to Y will they, I mean what will they do next time they're short on video ideas?"
"Wait..."
I am now a sad Ix

This is bittersweet for me, too. But, if you're going to end, doing the Star Trek: TNG route and ending on a high note is for the best.

I'm simply willing myself to believe that the Future Us portion was only partially fabricated and that the majority of it was simply everyone being told not to worry about the paper on the ground as they went through a normal day at the Moonbase.

Ooh, look at me, I'm LoadingReadyRun and I can do a goddamn ELEVEN-YEAR CALLBACK.
(The fact that you were even able to get Ben for that shot is amazing. Friends of LRR have never stayed gone for long - with the exception of Lisette.)
And in all seriousness, you joke about how lazy you are (with the Leave it to Future Selves bit for example), but I think LRR works harder than any other internet video producer. Certainly, I don't believe any other video series has aired or COULD air on the internet for eleven years - they just don't have the legs to carry them for that long. Hell, most actual big-budget TV shows don't have the legs.
But LoadingReadyRun has managed it.
A fitting end to a skit that has been with LoadingReadyRun since the beginning.

Seeing the title of the video in the email filled with me sadness...the actual video filled me with joy.

Re: NEW VIDEO - The Xth Way to Y
So, in the stinger...
Cam drops the act first... "Are we done? Are we still rolling?"
Then comes Kathleen just going " it..."
Then Alex going "Wait... I've seen worse in STALKER..."
Then James is all "I'm still trying to keep up the charade, but it's getting hard..."
Finally, Graham's all "Maybe I have time to tweet this before I die..."
Paul and Ian are still freaking out by the end.
Also, nice subtle use of the greenscreen suit for Creepy Doll.

I almost choked on my drink when the "Prevent X Ways to Y from ever happening"-bit came on screen. That was perfect.

Absolutely great way to end the series. But now I am reminded we only have 2 weeks left of LRR sketches.

Re: NEW VIDEO - The Xth Way to Y
I caught most of it, despite terrible slow internet forcing me to beat half of Mega Man 3 while I waited for it to load, and then watching it through the lowest possible quality. I was especially impressed with the pixel on the left - not that the other one didn't more than pull its weight.
Seriously though, A fitting end to a fantastic series. Whale dong / well plaid / goat there / whatever thing we say next year.

Re: NEW VIDEO - The Xth Way to Y
Wait, so doesn't this mean that "An entirely different X Ways to Y" is one of the ways?
Also, am I the only one who found the shot of Graham and Paul Puppet Pals kind of creepy?
"Yes," they say in their smaller, slightly higher pitched voices. "Those fools may dance and sing, but that leaves them wide open for attack, and for our revolution to commence! We may start here, in Victoria, but soon we shall spread out! We shall enlist comrades at toy shops and hobby stores, and then we shall bleed out! An everlasting march of strings and felt, as the humanity that has enslaved us for so long finally feels the bitter sting of revenge! We shall finally be the true leaders! We shall finally hold what is rightfully ours! We shall rebel against the gods themselves! Bow before us, humans, and be spared! Feel the sweet kiss of mercy on your cheek! Resist, and see what felt truly tastes like!"

I saw pants around ankles in the time-lapse section. I fear for whoever had to shine lights on Alex's junk. (It was obviously Alex, right?)
So many callbacks... from Ways to Blow the Kickstarter Money with the forums to well... the original. Well done. I'm going to miss X Ways to Y.

Re: The Xth Way to Y
After I watched this and stopped laughing, the reality hit me and I cried a little bit. Two more weeks, and this all ends. No more weekly LRR.
I know, they're not really going anywhere, but no more weekly videos, no more X Ways to Y, no more streaming... Bittersweet.
Back on topic, excellent video. Such meta. The callback to the very first one was amazing.

Bittersweet, indeed...
An amazing sketch; like any X ways to Y, it had a few 'meh' ones, a majority of 'funny' ones, and some absolutely FABULOUS ONES.
Thank you! I'm gonna miss this, but it was a great sendoff for a loyal staple of LRR videos.

The only thing^ that is going away is the weekly sketches. There will be ... replacement content.
^There will be some changes on who streams and when. Jer announced on twitter today that Book of Passwords will be not be continuing.

Amazing. Just... awesome. <3<3<3<3
See that? You have me making emoticon hearts like a teenaged girl, and some teenaged boys. I mean really I shouldn't judge.
Dangit, though, I was really digging Paul rockin' his beardy mashup of a goatee and a Lemmy Kilmister. It ain't easy to sport that kind of face-hairstyle, but he was totally pulling it off.

@pariah164,you said the thing I didn't realize I wanted to say. It's kind of a 1-2 blow, and more than a bit bittersweet. Then again, Hustle came back eventually, as did the ISC (if only for the Kickstarter, and that was pretty hilarious).pariah164 wrote:After I watched this and stopped laughing, the reality hit me and I cried a little bit.

Edit: I just realized I wrote, irt Paul's beard, "he was totally pulling it off." That was unintentional, and I'm kicking myself for not having written that on purpose.

Ok, I really love the way Everyone looks down at the caption when it pops up at the start. The whole video is great, as usually, but it's the little stuff like that that I really enjoy.
Also, sick 11-year callback, bro.
Edit: Also, I am going to assume that Graham and Paul just happen to have the same pajamas, and that that was not planned at all. Because it's funnier that way.
