When did Fox News ever have points? They've been in the red for credibility for as long as they've existed.

The writing on this video was excellent. It wasn't just over-the-top and putting slander everywhere it could possibly go, it was a lot like actual Fox News' style too!
Did you do a lot of research when writing the script?

Thanks! Glad you like it.
I watched the Fox story on Mass Effect, and I've seen other stories of theirs, whenever they bitch out video games for the world's problems, so I have a good idea of how they operate.
Sorry about the audio, I agree.

'Misspoke'?
Misspeaking is when you accidentally say one thing instead of what you meant. You can't 'misspeak' an entire review / editorial / interview.

It makes me so mad when topics like this come up. Like when Manhunt first came out and they were complaineing about kids getting hold of it. If kids have bad parents then yes! They will get hold of these games! Fox have set me off into a furious rage now!
Loved the video btw! Loved how Matt's saying about how this game doesn't currupt you. Then blows Graham up lol!
Ps:
"2 girls, 1 Kart?" - Brilliant!

Of all the ways I could think of parodying that "news" segment, this blew all of them away. Absolutely LOVED it.
I thought I may have seen a spot by Paul's eye that was cut from the green screen, but I may have just seen it differently with the glasses and all. The audio wasn't that great, but I honestly didn't care because everything else pretty much made up for it.

Y'know, maybe the people at Fox have never actually had sex, or even attended sex ed, and so they confused some of the game's normal interactions with illicit sexual encounters.

I was gonna ask, where'd you find two Jack Thomsons for this one. Remote Plasma Grenade at the end is made of win.
While I do admit that the "alien sex" is a part of the reason I don't care for Mass Effect, it's more because it was used as a marketing scheme than anything else. Mostly, Mass Effect just isn't my kind of game.
I bet my brother is wondering why he heard the words "Furious masturbation" three times in rapid succession right about now.
Deemed too hazardous for human contact.

Another note now that I've watched it again: The two lines of on-screen text for the news segment in addition to the LoadingReadyRun URL in the bottom margin (as in all of the newer videos) make the screen feel very cramped, especially in full-screen mode.
Speaking of full-screen mode, I wasn't able to activate it in the last video, High Noon, for a few days. Was this a Reverr or LRR issue?

Apparently the one woman's book got over 9000 1-star reviews on Amazon after this came out. One review said something like "Well, even though I haven't read this book, clearly it must be bad, since it's been getting all these poor reviews. I guess I should go with one star as well."
Then Amazon did a total party wipe on the reviews, even the legitimate ones.

Matt seriously, brilliant delivery. Possibly the best acting I've seen you do to date. Your reactions to Paul were just so damned brilliantly done.
Kudos to all three of you though, bloody well done.
How did Revver let you stick the shots of Mass Effect up on their site, I thought you weren't allowed copyrighted footage?
Yay, the forums sparked another video idea!! ^.^ (Assuming you were either doubly inspired by the forum post after seeing the real thing on TV, or you were just basing is solely off the forum post.)
Guys...just....I wish I could write this well. *Sobs*
Additionally, how did you do the funky animated background? I've been meaning to whip one of those up for a while, not a clue where to start. :S
And finally....

Do people just not realize the video is up on Mondays, or what? Or is the viewcounter just very broken.
The first may have something to do with it, but also, they've switched to using the Revver view-counter, which doesn't update in real-time, and isn't exactly their highest priority.

I enjoyed this one. Parodying the moralizing talking heads of television journalism might be like shooting fish in a barrel, but those fish still need to die.
As I've never played Mass Effect, I didn't know how legitimate the claims were. But since I thought Hot Coffee was overblown, I doubted this one was any more legitimate.
