Rarely are parents and teachers on the same page.

This was a pretty great video.

Also, Ian J. has some pretty funny face acting.

I enjoyed this one as well. It's funny because it's more than likely true :D

On draft day I will now assume that James is running in from a stressful day at the nail gun factory where he installs the safety device that prevents nails from just randomly shooting out.

Every time someone leaves Mike Holmes crew, I will assume they were killed by a nail gun made on draft day.

I loved this one. A great play on the state of parenting these days. My favourite part has got to be the raised voices inside the group huddle.

I too, have tried to argue chips count as a vegetable, but have never had enough success to warrant trying to argue the vegetable oil as well.

My favorite argument is the "Pizza's Perfect" argument.

Pizza is traditionally made of cheese (dairy), tomato sauce (vegetable), and a doughy crust (bread). If you were to top it with pepperoni or sausage, you would have all four food groups represented in one item.

The same principle works with Grilled Ham & Cheese, served with tomato soup.

"my screaming - now politically aware - children"

Is it wrong that this is just how I think of politician's anyway?

Also the huddle was brilliant "24 hours is like ALL day".

Was it Graham in the back shouting 'that's the learning channel!'?

I had to look up the storage wars thingie you mentioned. Seems fairly unfair that after 3 months, the storage company gets the stuff. Do they even give the option of retrieving the goods from the locker or is that under ransom till they pay up?

This video was hilarious! But yeah, same question as DarkAbyssKeeper, was that Graham? That part and the "Overachievers means smart people" joke were just funny. My father was a vice principle for awhile, I need to show him this one. Not sure if he'll get the "Pizza is a fruit" joke... Can't explain that.

@Season's Beatings

Yuuuuuup! The owners of the lockers have the key to the lockers, so they just need to remember to make it to the locker before it goes on sale. Storage Wars is awesome.

Just look up "pizza is a vegetable" and you'll see the news that inspired this sketch.

About the video:
Wow. this seems pretty accurate, unfortunately. I'm pretty cynical, though. The writing was snappy and the delivery was excellent.

It is part of the agreement that you sign when you rent a storage locker. If you don't pay your rent, the storage company can sell any assets in the locker to recoup any expenses (including collections services, lost rent, etc). Usually they sell the lockers at a flat fee to an auction firm.

The storage company generally puts their own lock on the unit when the rent is past due by 6 weeks. You can't get your stuff if you're behind on rent.

I did not know that. It seems kind of silly that they would cut off their own locks when it's time to sell the locker.

You'll notice in the show that there's only one lock being cut off. The storage company has removed their lock. Sometimes there's just a tamper-evident tag on the locker, instead.

This one was painful to watch—in a good way. I mean, it was hilarious, but only because it was so stingingly true. I've done lots of camp counseling and tutoring and I'm always sad when I see smart kids and dumb parents. Doesn't help that Congress it getting in on it. >.<

That said, the sketch was amazing! I love Kathleen's indignant voice, and the "five a day" part! Plus the extras did an awesome job. :D
