I loved the sign and Graham tipping the scalding hot tea. I think Jer could've done a bit more with the sour candy unless that actually was sour candy in which case he did a remarkably good job. I think Jer's vagrant voice at the very end was quite convincing. Was the kick in the shin to give him a limp?

Was Jer The Vagrant based off of any particular doom-sayer? We had one named Bruce in my hometown that would occasionally wander around one of the local high schools. He wasn't preaching doom so much as preaching the virtues of excessive alcohol assumption. Now Madison, that's the place to go in the Midwest to study lovable vagrants.

My timing has been excellent today. As soon as I finished watching the new Unskippable the new LRR vid was up. I even beat Matt to the Twitter announcement.

Good theory on ArMEGAddon. I'm looking forward to the Discovery Channel special in a couple months.

I don't know that the character was based on him per-se, but we do have a crazy guy in victoria that stands on the corner of douglas & fort St (the busiest corner in the downtown core) with some sort of sign based off a strict and usually questionable interpretation of biblical passages as they pertain to current events. (God Hates GOLBALISATION[sic])I call him crazy-sign-guy and he will likely become a recurring character in my twitter feed.

When he's not on that corner waving his giant sign, he's usually over on government st playing a guitar, and preaching, spoken word about how homosexuality is an abomination, and god hates everything.

I like how tim sounds like that's the fifth guy he's told to "get a job" on this trip.

Also, Jer's hair looks way too good for him to be a homeless guy.

Funny thing too, but I joined the IHC lottery for the 2012 movie. Pretty interesting set-up too.

Very well done, and surprisingly accurate.

We have one man that stands outside my liberal arts building who speaks in a posh British accent and invites you to join him for a dinner of fowl, tea, and crumpets if you are kind enough to give him some change to afford a bottle of scotch to share afterward. His name is Shakespeare.

Greatest homeless man I've come across yet. Wonderfully polite, but he really doesn't get as much attention as the guy dressed as a vagrant Mr. T who mumbles to himself over on State and Harrison. That's where the money's at.

Pretty good job guys. I think this is actually funnier if you live in Victoria, having seen crazy-sign-guy several times now. There's another one that hangs out near the Mackensie St. entrance to UVic.

Nitpicks;
- Graham's hair was a tad unkempt for him to be the 'businessman' character.

- Jer seems to be channeling a bit of an Adam Sandler voice from one of his worse movies. Also clearly laughing while eating the candy was funny but out of character.

I like how it ended, with a "WTF?" moment.

Did Tim run into a pole right at the last second?

That was a nice video.

I just watched it again and Tim definitely walked into something at the end. It was hilarious.

What are you talking about? That was clearly John Ardnost McWalden on his quest to correct raving apocalypse lunatics everywhere! One down, eighteen to go (there have been many layoffs in that department).

Great vid, and very true to those guys I saw when I visited Victoria.

Gasp! No list! I have been rectified! It truly IS ArMEGAdon!*Gets soft robe, a copy of Jer's book, and a Mini-nuke for some final "fun"...Oh yes and how could I forget some sheep, some rat poison, some cheese, and an umbrella.*

Also, try to debate with a hobo, you can get some...entertaining results.

P.S. This goes out to 42, who is currently stalking me.

I LOL'd when Tim walked into that thing at the last second. Was that intentional or just random luck for a laugh for those who notice? :P

Jer was almost laughing when he was eating those yellow candies. Lol

Nice voice work Jer, I'm sure you mastered it now since doing the How to Talk like a Pirate video.

Good video, it was written very well and I very much liked the quick cuts at the "soon" "ah" "-ish" "oh". The video as a whole felt very tight, and it didn't feel like there was any "wasted space" if that makes any sense.

In Melbourne we have this (presumably) homeless guy with a big beard who just sits and plays this home-made drum-kit (made out of pots and oil drums and crap) all day for spare change. Just thought I'd share that.

Also, really good video guys! The cover of Jer's book was a nice touch.

I like how Matt is a dick and hits Jer's flyers :3

I really don't know why, but Matt being a dick is really funny.

Maybe, Graham is playing the same character from Street Value and that's why he knows so much about being on the street.

Was that supposed to be a fedora that Graham put on at the end? It looked more like a cowboy hat but that doesn't really seem like it'd fit with the sketch.
