edit: found it. sorry about the quality, it rode around in my pocket for weeks.

What are the odds this is a Jonathan Swift "A Modest Proposal" kind of thing? I'd put the odds at 60% or higher.

Will read more later. Very amusing.

i agree. it does smell a rat. though, i talked the guy for a while and he was really serious about the whole thing and he was pretty manic. i thought it may have been an art thing as it was right outside the building i was studying (art) at, but then i talked to a friend who saw him in a completely different place. serious or a joke, it's a great read.

not really my hood, but i'm surprised i haven't at least heard of him. do you ever see wheelbarrow man? he wheels this barrow up and down stirling hwy. there's also purple helmet man who i see anywhere randomly. always wearing that helmet.

Was everyone too busy laughing at Tim running into something to realize that he was reading the arMEGAddon book?

If I were going to write a book about the ArMEGAddon, the first chapter would probably advise the reader to pay attention to the vagrants trumpeting the coming apocalypse.

Point of note, I was pretty chuffed with myself when I read the title, watched the video, and realised I'd pronounced it correctly without any foreknowledge.

I mean, there are posts in this thread that misspell it...

ArMEGAddon is a great book. It follows two brothers, named Frank and Joe, as they uncover the mysteries of the apocalypse, with the help of some of their friends.

At least, I assume they're uncovering the mysteries of the apocalypse. I haven't gotten to the end yet, so the End of Days stuff hasn't quite come up, but I fully expect it to become evident soon.

Is their friend named Chet?

I have to say, I love when Graham plays characters like this. He does it so well.

IDK if anyone's asked this just yet, but what book did you replace the cover of to make the arMEGAddon book?

See my previous post about the contents of the book, which is a predictive non-fiction novel about two "everymen" named Frank and Joe.

Perhaps it's just me, but Jer's delivery of the 'ArMEGAdon is coming' line immediately before Graham's start sounds a bit like Brad.

I don't have any personal experience with the "end of the world" profets, but we do have a crazy guy who sits on a park bench all day having conversations with a cup of tea and a cigarett lighter...

i just realized that Jer is probably also dressed a bit too fancy (but then again he has to be taught how to do the armegaddon thing right) cause his shirt has French cuffs, which, I think, are usually found on fancier shirts, but then maybe I'm wrong, which wouldn't surprise me at all.

Lies. Lies and silliness.

Follow: It would have taken so long to compose on a typewriter that by the time he was finished, arMEGAdon would have been arMEGAdone.
