The biggest thing is learning what people mean when they say something. Unsure of something? Clarify. Still don't get it? Break it down to it's base elements and clarify empathetically.

My girlfriend looks at the world ENTIRELY differently than I do. Like, I am perceptive guy, I am very understanding and empathetic with people and yet she used to just flat out stump me in how she thinks. Now? She still confuses me at times, but we trust and care for each other more than we ever have because we're open with each other.

Glad we all seem to agree with this on sex. Got a problem? Communicate. I personally can't really begin to describe how much of a relief it is to just be able to trust someone with well, everything, regardless of how selfish it might sound. I also couldn't recommend it highly enough.

I don't mind giving a massage now and again, and they feel really good when done properly. Plus, it's a great bonding exercise.

As for areas, it's typically feet and back/neck; I can't think of anywhere else you could possibly get a massage and not have it be weird or uncomfortable. My biggest problems with massages are that I'm never sure if I'm doing it hard/soft enough and I get bored easily. There are only so many ways you can rub the same portion of back before your hands get tired and you lose interest.

Massages and body work play a big part in longterm dance projects I have found.
