HEAR ME, CITIZENS OF LOADINGREADYRUN
HEAR ME, CITIZENS OF LOADINGREADYRUN
People of LRR,
My name is Woody Tondorf, I composed such timeless hits such as "Like a Bus," "I'm on a Bus," and "Evacuate the Dance Floor."
I come to you with a plea. Two days ago my precious web series Elevator was nominated in the 2010 Streamy Awards as an Audience Choice Award finalist. While a humbling honor and an opportunity to sculpt my chest hair in ways previously thought impossible, we're only halfway to winning this thing.
We need votes, badly. We're up against 9 other web series, including that world of warcraft series people seem to like. Look, nothing against the "30 Rock" of the internet, but they win everything. I've had enough of it. It's Elevator's time to win SOMETHING. I want this more than I care to admit.
So I'm asking you to go to http://vote.streamys.org and vote for Elevator every day until April 11th. If we win, I'll mention all 91,000 of our youtube subscribers in an upcoming Elevator episode.
Think I won't do it? Well then tune in at blogtv.com/people/woodyrunawaybox march 28th at 9pm to thank the 1600 people who told us they voted for us. In December I promised I would, and like the Joker, I'm a man of my word.
Again, you can vote for Elevator at http://vote.streamys.org every day until April 11th. I want this win by any means necessary...including sky writing. I've already submitted a down payment.
Yours in hugs and battle royales,
Woody Tondorf

Re: HEAR ME, CITIZENS OF LOADINGREADYRUN
Sent in my vote for today.
You should also soon be receiving a letter in the mail with a pair of group tickets for a direct passenger pickup by Crashonhe Couriers en route to Nesre Secundus Trade Outpost for a bit of opera followed by a night on the town. The tickets are good for up to seven passengers or a total mass of roughly 3001.41 pounds, whichever comes first, so invite along some friends, but do leave your cameras at home as this is technically smuggling. If anyone on NSec asks, you're indentured constructs arrived fresh from the Markir Extrapolatory Zone.
Oh, and if anyone is allergic to honey they should stay home, unfortunately.

Well don't worry, we'll bury you instead of throwing you on our last boat to fall off a waterfall and be devoured by wild animals. Or at least we'll cremate you first.

Just did again. Been spreading the word about "The Elevator" show to co-workers, a fair number of whom came to like LRR upon my recommendation, so here's hoping for a surge in votes from the 142.xxx.xxx.xxx ip range...
