See. That sammich makes me wish my sammich last night had bacon.

It was two of those cheesy sausage things.

With a slice of pepperoni pizza on either side as bread.

And Cheetos to give it crunch.

There was a recent episode of Good Eats (hosted by one of my personal Food Deities, Alton Brown) that dealt with combining deserts salt (to enhance the taste of the sweets). He made three things, a dark caramel with sea salt. A Grapefruit with brulee on top of each half (with some salt sprinkled into the melted sugar). And... PRALINE BACON!

Par-cook the bacon on a rack in an oven. Sprinkle them with a pecan/brown sugar mixture, finish cooking and consume.

Next time I get bacon I'm going to try it.

I like to have a couple saltine crackers with my ice cream sundae. The salt/sweet contrasts nicely & I enjoy the texture as well.

After some research, I've found that the bacon flavoured personal lubricant appears to be an April 1st hoax from last year. However, the bacon flavoured baby formula



is. . . also fake.
