Help Commander Keen!

If you're on twitter you probably saw this last night: Commander Keen/Captain Makr's bike was stolen, despite two "theft proof" locks. It's his main means of transport, followed by his feet and then the bus. His current contract is almost up and he hasn't been able to find another job yet (lovely economy).

Goddamn bike thieves. Having some faith in the system first. Besides, I do have another bike, just that one was super awesome and my silver lining from the olympics. Olympics=fat paychecks=hella awesome bike.

I do have another bike so i'm not *completely* SOL, but it ain't the speediest thing(read: it's heavy) around and the purpose of the bike that got stolen was for cycling around the city and doing some bike touring. Which I probably won't get to do this summer now. #whine

Perhaps I should just use a pogo stick instead.

Well, it might take longer to get from place to place, but I sincerely doubt that some ass would steal a pogo stick if it was changed up to a bike rack. That and the ladies won't be able to keep their hands off you when they see you rol- er, hopping down the street on that sweet ride.

Urgh, I'm so sorry. If you ride it a lot & use it to generally get around, I think it's almost a bit like having your car stolen. Except you can't get insurance to deal with replacing it. Boo.

EDIT: Whoa, I could swear I've seen that bottle lamps photo around somewhere else online. You're famous! Or maybe you posted it in the forums at some point? Either way, I love the colours!
