Oh hey, I found my really old forum account! Yay. :)

I don't have too much to add to any current discussion, but I wanted to say hello LRR Bronies! <3

Also I think Sombre is going to also be the season end villain.

That... was... AWESOME!

A load of fun to watch :D They are definitely building up to something and I'm very curious to see what it is. I only wonder, though, whether they are moving too fast. There are only three seasons confirmed, but with the huge success of the series I find it hard to imagine that it won't be renewed for at least another one. If that's the case, then this whole build up of Twilight as the chosen one seems too soon. Or maybe the show really will finish, who knows.

I'm a little hesitant about the whole 'chosen one' route they seem to be heading in as well. I trust the creators, but it seems that throughout the series the theme has been very focused on both everyday things and all of the mane six ponies being friends and equals. Each have different strengths, yes, but otherwise they were at about the same level. With Twilight's 'grooming' from the princess, she's being singled out as special and different. I can see her talents being appreciated, just as her brothers were rewarded, but I have to wonder where they are going with Twilight herself. I will be cautiously optimistic.

Also, for the last week I have not been able to get Babs Seed out of my head.

It won't leave until I'm dead!

So I just realized how inavertanty brilliant hasbro is. I don't think there's any specific way to have designed the show to have appealed to 20 something's, but since they were able, they now have the potential of a future audience. I mean the show is quality and has some warm fuzzy messages which are good for the kids. I'd totally bring it up when I have children. It'd probably be better than most of the drivel that'll be on. So way to go hasbro, that's profit in about a decade.

The Trixie episode was my favorite this season.

Yeah I felt like overall this was one of the best episodes simply on the pacing. There was a bad guy (who's distinct.) Then some fldueling. A side quest to figure out how to win. A second duel to outwit the bad guy. And it felt longer than the series opener.

As an aside to the speculation, I wouldn't be surprised if they are ending it after these episodes and not renewing. The problem with these sort of "learn a lesson every episode" shows is that they typically run out of lessons. (I personally thought the latest pinkie pie episode suffered from this) and Lauren Faust has shown that she is pretty interested in the 'health' of the show. It's not just a way to push product. It's a valuable creative work and so be it if hasbro can sell a few toys on top. Hasbro is probably very interested in running more episodes. After all is be willing to believe its a cash cow.
...
Speaking of I'm going to go take a look and see if hasbro is public and how healthy they look. I may have found a new holiday investment.

Applejack is an orphan.

She's had a traumatic encounter with bats.

She has fought evil masterminds.

Why does the barn fall down Applejack? So we can build it back up again.

Babs Seed, Babs Seed, if she's after you
Gotta run, we gotta flee
Gotta hurry, don't you see?
Babs Seed, Babs Seed, she's just a bad, bad seed
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah~
