I have a feeling things are going to be tense when Walder Frey hears of this. Or they will just ignore that plotline for the rest of the season.

If he is killed, perhaps the whitewalkers can take over his role of absolute monstrous jerk. Failing that, Cersei.

Each episode has felt strong. I have the same feeling I had when I binged watched seasons 1-4. Season 5 felt meh. I'm glad Season 6 feels strong.

When I thought this episode was getting a bit average, it lands a killer suckerpunch. I suspected Daenerys would do an awesome thing due to Twitter meme spoilers, but I didn't know what.

A usual bad arse move, but a little worrying how mad kingy it was. She does it with good intentions, but it was still ruthless. Maybe that's the whole character arc she has, struggling to avoid being crazy

I liked how that scene played out, but looking back, I do kind of agree with you.

To be fair, it doesn't feel like anything of value was lost. Drogo was kind of an exception to the norm...

The end of the last episode was tearful.

And that scene that begins with a close up of someone's penis.

I will admit that I found that(the close up) absolutely hilarious because it took me by surprise. xD

And yes, the ending of the last episode... I'm still processing it.

There's something really sweet about it, but I can understand why she may find it creepy. She's used to men mocking her, so, it's an alien concept for her to have a man that in instantly enthralled by her being herself.

I hope it works out for both of them.

There's theories that what happened with Arya isn't what it looks like at a first glance. Given how flippantly she was walking around knowing full well she is being hunted, people suspect that this wasn't Arya. Maybe Jacan always knew Arya would not be a faceless man, but knew she'd need the skills of them for some greater purpose. So he took a stabbing and booked a ship home for her.

I'm not sold on the Jaqen theory - from a narrative perspective, there's no established motivation for such actions that we've being shown. "He" (there's no evidence that Jaqne was ever just one person) seemed to think that Arya was a promising prospect for the Faceless Men, and was disappointed by her actions, but we haven't being shown anything more than him being disappointed - certainly nothing to indicate he'd "die" for her.

Personally, I'm more a fan of the idea that Arya intentionally acted to draw the Waif out, and is setting a trap for her. She knew that if she escaped for too long, she'd be more vulnerable and potentially other Faceless Men would be sent after her, but she'd have a chance against the Waif if the Waif was forced to act brashly (the Waif (at least, taking her character at face value), clearly isn't free of emotions directing her actions). So she played into the Waif's perception of her, acted visibly and vulnerable, and forced the Waif into quick and direct action (lessening the risk of poison or other means). With a leather undercoat and blood bags from the theatre troupe, the trap is set in a setting to her advantage (darkened sewers after Arya spent weeks learning to fight blind).

By the "logic" used by the Faceless Men, this would set Arya free - only death may pay for life, so the Waif's death would serve to pay for Arya's life.

It could be either, it could be both, but one thing seems clear from her dress and her actions (and conspicuous lack of Needle) - not everything was as it seemed.
