Replacement for photobucket for forum avatar and banners?
Anybody have any good alternatives for photobucket? Turns out they are dickbuckets (see "my" avatar and sig...) and I would like to host my stuff somewhere else. But is there any other host where I can host some photo's with SOME expectation of privacy? I would prefer free, but a small payment isn't a problem

I'm researching this as well & I'll have to dig into my family archives as Photobucket went total dick by fully replacing the images being used with their garbage toilets, so you can't even retrieve said images (I'll have to grab a fresh copy of my forum sig image from my parent's archives).
Google Drive SEEMED like a viable option, but it's not panning out for remote viewing...
MediaFire does links, but won't display images remotely...
TinyPic was going to be a viable option, but it may have the same policies as Photobucket (being their parent company).
PicWindow.com seems OK... but I'm unfamiliar with them...

You could look into using https://framapic.org/. Its free open source yadda yadda. I've used it for hosting some images for research projects in the past

I generally use Imgur for all my image uploading purposes.
Images posted don't have to be shared to the community, so it does have good privacy, as far as I'm aware.
