Check it out.
Rum sales soar thanks to Pirates of the Caribbean films.
Now, I'm not much of a party guy so I haven't noticed what type of booze everyone else has been drinking as of late. And besides, I myself am a whiskey man.
Have you guys noticed an increase in rum and rum drinks?

I don't understand people's aversion to gin. It is highly delicious!

Gin is exceptionally delicious.

There are some excellent rums, but most of the stuff that is not retarded expensive is pretty awful.

You're only a few hundred years off, though, and on the wrong continent. So at least it is a closer guess than Mars during the stone age.

I heard Tang fell from space one day, and that its origins are still shrouded in mystery.

I would rather drink something that tastes good than something I need to cover the taste of.

Then you should join the Tequila club, emma. That's where all the cool kids hang. Viva tequila! But I also like dark rum. And most whiskeys. And good vodka. And wine. And hoppy beer. And liver replacements.

P.S. I wonder how Goldschlager sales were aftected by Superbad.

That is a filthy lie.

I am only on my second 40 of gin this semester. And that is from sharing one over a long period of time with my parents.

I think you don't understand the difference between consuming a lot and being a horrible, horrible lightweight.

Meh, it just tastes so... unnatural and chemical-like to me. Just like Scotch, I feel like Im drinking a horrible solvent like acetone. Im guessing that means we are not friends anymore eh? Plz don't punish my dislike for gin with moar girly movies when Im in T.O again

Vodka, Tequila, Jager bombs, 8% beer ftw.

It doesn't taste chemically, it tastes like juniper!

The complaint I always hear is that it tastes like pine needles.

Goddamn I want a beer so badly right now, guys. It's fucking ridiculous. My fridge is STOCKED and it is taking so much willpower to stop me right now.

I am mostly a beer person although I do drink things with gin in them if they are made for me. I am not really a big fan of the juniper taste of gin. Other than birthday related Tequila shots, the only thing I like to drink straight is single malt scotch, but only in small quantities.

I hear you ran into Russell and Jessica and company the other day, perhaps after partaking a bit in the above!

If it makes you feel any better, I had a beer when I got home from class, then went out and had two more beers, then ended up having some sparkling wine and four more beers and three glasses of port and after that it gets a little hazy.

Point being: no more class for this semester!
