Nanaimo got /.'ed

Postby James » 11 Mar 2008, 11:55

HA, This is pretty Awesome.

For those not familiar Nanaimo is a smaller town about 2 hours north of Victoria. It is also the home of our favorite film festival the VISFF. And now apparently the "Google capital of the world"!

Wow! seems like a lot of work and a lot of money for such a small city.

Edit: Oh well..... Nanaimo isn't all that small actually. I always get it mixed up with Ladysmith, now that's a small town!

I respectfully disagree. I quite like Nanaimo, myself.

South Nanaimo is a hole. the north end is like a bigger, newer, cheaper Oak Bay with better views.

Also Matt, I noticed in this post you used capitals. Which is cool. Since from the podcast we learnt that you are anti-capitals.

I've had to spend my fair share of time in Nanaimo, and I still stand by my previous statement.
Nanaimo is a hole.

However, I will admit that parts of Nanaimo are nice, but overall, it's a hole.

[Also. Mill Bay is a hole. And Ladysmith is a hole on the side of a hill.]

Yeah, it started as "Doesn't that seem" and when I changed it to "Isn't" I forgot to get rid of "seem." How very noobish of me.

All of this goes to show that Nanaimo is great. My logic is impeccable. It cannot be denied!

Well, no. I haven't been to Nanaimo. I was just editing what Matt wrote to reflect what everyone said. Then it turned into a game of editing edits.
