Unintentionally hilarious movies?

Postby Hero of Canton » 05 Aug 2008, 16:48

Can anyone help me find some of the best unintentionally hilarious movies?
Heh? Meh.

My favorite unintentionally hilarious movie is Stay Alive. It's a horror movie. About video games. If you die in the game, you die in real life. Frankie Muniz plays a poorly-written gamer stereotype. It's a movie that is made so much more hilarious if you know about games, and gamer culture.

10,000 BC was pretty hilarious, if you think of everything in the context of WoW.

Chopper Chicks from Zombie Town. A fantastic film in which a group of biker chicks save a backwoods town from an infestation of hominis mortuus.

The film features the debut screen performance of the irreverent Billy Bob Thornton.

Johnny Mnemonic is a pretty hilariously bad movie. Especially Keanu Reaves's monologue towards the end of the film; I WANT ROOM SERVICE!

I thought Eragon was hilarious whenever it tried to be serious. Saw with a bunch of friends and we kept bursting out laughing when everyone else was dead silent.

I cannot remember the name of it, but I was watching this movei at a friends house, and it was hysterical. It was like a samurai movie or something. One of the characters had fake hands that he would shoot out. Everytime someone got hit or anything, they would cough up blood and die. Cut with a sword, cough blood die. Choked with flying clockwork hand thing, cough blood die. Hit in the face with a ceramic tea cup thrown by another guy, cough blood die. I am not exaggerating. all three of those are examples.

A classic but recent example is the remake of The Wicker Man with Nicholas Cage.

In an alternative vein, there's also Batman and Robin, which tried to be hilarious and ended up serious... ly bad.

Basically my whole movie collection, but to be specific;

Delta Force: Stars Chuck Norris and you'll laugh so hard when they go for the planes in a cotton field.

Delta Force 2: Same, and has Chuck Norris again, but the bad guy is the most badass guy ever. He kills the Baby, the Father, and the Mother in one swoop.

Missing in Action: Chuck Norris fights Vietnamese

Death Wish Series: Hell yeah, vigilanty that kills

Ice Spiders: Need I say more?

Ernest. P. Worrell movies always rock

Showgirls was painful. And for a movie about beautiful *naked* women to be this bad takes a huge effort.

If you can find it there is a movie shot on location in Alabama with a camcorder, its about vampire midgets. Its called Ankle Biters. I kid you not.

If your just looking for a good laugh Redneck Zombies, Class of Nuke Em High or any other movie from Troma studios are great!!

I've never laughed harder in a movie theater than when a friend and I snuck into Bulletproof Monk halfway through. Then there's all the Ed Wood movies (Glenn or Glenda is probably the funniest of these... certainly the most surreal; Bride of the Monster has the best/worst ending). But really, look no further than Troll 2, the most amazing thing I've seen in my life.

The Village.

The whole movie is a setup for the punch line.
