If anyone who lives in Victoria is interested, Cap 6 will be showing Watchmen at midnight Mar 5.

Shit, looks like it's time for me to don my "Travel a thousand miles across the entire country and break into a private press screening, killing or otherwise incapacitating all who get in my way and then pleasuring myself as the movie goes on" hat.

I have a lot of hats.

Well if you can get here you won't have to worry about breaking into a private screening. It's open to the public. I know there are some Watchmen fans on here who live in Victoria and wasn't sure if they'd want to see it before anyone else.

Bought another ticket and saw it again and I

busses?

cabs?

bikes?

I don't care whether you have a car or not, a movie this hotly anticipated deserves to be watched in the best environment possible, and that's silver city, unless we get it to hit the imax.

/disagree

you've had several years of anticipation to plan how you're going to get to the theatre to see it. it's about as hard as asking someone for a lift.

Personally I like the Odeon the best. I dislike Silver City greatly. The Odeon has class.

The only worthwhile theatre in the odeon is screen 5 though. and the picture/sound quality is better at SC.

True. I don't find the quality difference enough to drag myself halfway to Langford and deal with the... just mentally jarring experience that is SC.

Of course, I'm also the one that found the IMAX version of The Dark Knight a let down. As in, "Was it really worth an extra few bucks for this?".

I understand where you're coming from but I hate what megaplexes like SC have done to the moviegoing experience. I need to go to the Roxy again soon...

Edit: I need to retract this right away. The Dark Knight can never be a let down. I just meant the IMAX wasn't all it was cracked up to be.
