Nunchuk Fail on Network TV Tonight!!

Q) When does a viral video really become a hit?
(a hit to the balls, lol, amirite?)

A) When it transcends the internet.

Now, as tank_girl already posted, Nunchuk Fail was shown on G4's Attack of The Show yesterday. And that's awesome, but we've got bigger fish to fry.
Oh that's right kiddies, it's time for network TV.

Tune your recording devices now, because (barring scheduling changes) our favourite Epic Nunchuk Fail will be airing on the March 20th edition of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on NBC.

I look forward to being openly mocked on one of the Big Five.

But, in all seriousness, tune your recorders. We need a good copy of this that we can use, and I don't have the ability to record from TV with anything better than a VCR (which is crap).

You need a recording of this? Heck, so do I!

We don't get Leno! :D

Purely this demonstrates how truly world-class Graham's junk is.

Is it even gonna be possible to legally host the video anywhere? NBC can be kinda rough about the whole presenting there material thing.

Oh and congrats to you and your newly network affiliated testicles by the way.

If Matt's laugh doesn't get attention, I'll be shocked. Heck, hopefully you can phone up NBC and say "LOL, TROLL'D!" when it gets a little bigger, then get on show.. impossible? I didn't think you'd get the clip on something like Leno, tbh, so I don't think it's out of the question.

Kickass, dudes :D

Oh Snap!

I don't question this fact on paper, but I do have a question:

How did you find this out?

Congrats, LRR. You guys have hit the big times. How'd you find out about all of this? Also, you guys planning on telling Leno it was all a setup? :P

We know because they asked us if they could. We signed a thing.
We don't get money, obviously.

Also, we don't need the recording to host on LRR (that would anger NBC) we need it for something else. Please can someone record to their computer?

Won't it be up on the Leno website? (Do they even do uploads?)

And we will be telling them, but not in a mean way, after the fact.
Don't them to think we're trying to make them look stupid. Because we're really not, it's just awesome.

Well It seems pretty unlikely that this would somehow turn into an oprah over 9000 debacle, since you know, you guys aren't jerks. I'm definitely curious to see what the plan is and how it works out though.

Next thing we know Oprah is telling us about the over 9000 nunchucks out there looking to hit people in the junk. Ever since they made the alliance with the skateboards its been hell on earth.

Congratulations!

If you do come clean with the story to NBC, maybe just after cH-07, I don't see why they wouldn't consider presenting it as a funny follow-up story. Can get yourself some extra exposure.

If I lived in America, I'd certainly tape it for you; however, I don't, so I can't.

I think we do but it's delayed on the Sky channels.

Oh this is brilliant :D

Is there any way I'd be able to see this in the UK though?

I'll give it a go with my TiVo HD. I may or may not have just downloaded the utility to unwrap the .tivo DRM to make them standard MPEGs. Just an FYI, though, a 1 hour show in HD is at least 2.3 GB so it's not really something that could be transferred over the Interweb.

The TiVoDesktop utility has been flaky for me in the past so I don't want to be the only one trying to capture this. It'll probably be Saturday afternoon before I can tell for certain whether I have a usable (transferable) version.

You should totally do a mocumentary on the Nunjuck Fail video.

Ah, from the looks of things, the March 20th Episode (It has Seth Rogen in it) will broadcast in the UK this Monday at 11pm on CNBC (Sky Channel 505).

I assume they just want the Nunchuck Fail segment, and I doubt it needs to be in full HD.

Since it's (apparently) on in the UK too, I'll have a shot at taping it.

Right, duh. Depending upon what Graham suggests, I'll edit it down to the Nunchuck Fail segment and could cut the resolution to make it Internet-friendly.

In my mind's eye, I see a brief scene in cHustle 7 with the Runners sitting in front of a TV "watching" Jay Leno showing it on his program and giving each other high fives (or the Runners gangsta equivalent thereof). The quality probably doesn't need to be HD.

Yeah, that's how I see it being used too.
