More odd news.
In the Gong'an province in China, goverment and civil servant employees have been ordered by their superiors to smoke more. This to help the local economy by making them buy brands from the local tobacco company.
Employees who don't smoke enough risk being fined.

It should be mentioned that this isn't the work of the national goverment who is trying to make people stop smoking.

As Kingkool said, they can't make you smoke them. Forced consumption is something that China has done before in rough economic times. People in Japan were all given gift cards and were sent on manditory shopping trips to try and increase consumption.
