I was curious about how long it should take things to ship. I ordered the Commodore Hustle dvd April 12, and the order was updated to "shipped" on April 22. Still no sign of it though. Is this to be expected or should I initiate sadness mode?

I'm in the US. I had a feeling the shipping was ridiculously slow. I just wanted to make sure that was the case.

Why is it that only LRR Season 2 is available on Amazon Instant Video?

Re: New Members Start Here: Frequently Asked Questions& DVD
That is due to an old distributor LRR used that has a deal with Amazon. Do not buy it from there, though, as LRR gets negligible money from it compared to their current store.

Re: New Members Start Here: Frequently Asked Questions& DVD
I would, but since they don't have any in stock at their store, it's kinda the only choice.
Re: New Members Start Here: Frequently Asked Questions& DVD
So, a group I work as a volunteer with launched their new website recently.
I suggested they put some effort into the video part of their page and then pitched the sort of stuff that I thought would be good for them. They have a guy who does alot of filming for them but he's still swamped by the 350+ hours he filmed on the trip to china in 2005 (betcha wondering what the hell it is now), not to mention the bits and pieces he's filmed elsewhere and I thought to lighten the pressure for over the top trailers about U.S. tours and the like that we could do a weekly series of 6 minute videos that take a peek behind the scenes of everything at the office that goes into a royal wedding or visits by the chinese ambassador to Sweden.
What I had in mind was something akin to PATV but since finding a thread about the tech they use is not easy in my sleep deprived and taurin fuelled state I thought to myself "who else makes short internet videos that I watch regularly?" and then I looked here... Much simpler.
So either it was too long and you aren't reading this or you skipped to the end and have no idea why I'm posting the website, but the rest of you might be curious.
SOIC.se
Anyway, I'll skip the cliche "I like you guys because you remind me of my friends" and hop over the wierd anecdote about Graham Kathleen and James appearing in a dream as spirit guides to escort me over a canadian/swedish motorway (James was not happy about the situation for some reason).... Instead I hope you guys have a happy.. day... and many more to come.

I'm still wondering when the re-release of Seasons 2 and 3 will be.

Hey guys, sorry to post in such an old thread. Quick question regarding the DVD's - are they available through the store as a digital download?
I want to support the LRR crew but I haven't bought a physical DVD in about two years and don't think I want to start again now.

My girlfriend made/verified an account moments ago, but can't send me PMs because they're labeled "spam". Is there a time trial before she gets to act like a regular member sans restrictions or is the system bonked?

I was thinking it might be nice if there was a way to get the .iso or something of the disks when you buy them. I know my seasons 4 and 5 disks have ended up damaged due to having somehow falling out of the boxes. While I haven't run into problems, I have run into some visual glitches.

If you mean for their Magic the Gathering streams (and beginning in January other games), then www.twitch.tv/loadingreadyrun
If you mean for desert bus then I assume it will be www.twitch.tv/db_high, but I've never seen desert bus so I don't know for sure.

As a new forum dweller, I land among this foreign thread to find a wicked lie that says that you do not accept donations . I think the first post deserves an edit!

I do not think that is the only thing that is now out of date in the first post of this thread. For example, I know there have been several equipment upgrades in the last six years.

Re: New Members Start Here: Frequently Asked Questions& DVD
I've made a few updates to the faq/equipment page on the wiki (where the first post comes from), but I'm sure that's woefully out of date as well these days.

Hey all at LRR! As you can tell, I'm new to the forums, but I've been a fan for a long time. Anyways, I was wondering if I purchased something like a playmat or a poster, if I could get it signed by the main crew. Let me know soon! Thanks!!

Re: New Members Start Here: Frequently Asked Questions& DVD
I'm not a LRR crew member, but I do know that since they moved their merchandise to the Penny Arcade warehouse and have them do the fulfillment, it's not possible to get an item signed by the main crew because they'd have to get the merch from Seattle to Victoria in order for it to be signed and then from there to you which is an increase in transit time, shipping costs, and a possibility that your item could get lost in the mail.
The only way I can think of where you'd be able to get anything signed by the full crew is if they've set it up beforehand where a certain limited number of things were pre-signed by them before it gets stored in the PA warehouse, and they haven't done anything like that yet. Another way is to find them at PAX Prime because that's where it's likely you'll find the main crew due to someone's issues with traveling and social anxiety.
Or, you can do what I did a few years ago and donate a not-small amount of money to challenge them to buy a copy of Twilight, read a few pages from the first Twilight novel on stream, and then have everyone sign it. But I have no idea how much it would cost for them to do that nowadays.
