Viral Outbreak may have been a success, but what does that success mean?
I tried a new shooting style this week, and I like it a lot. Let me know what you think!
Also, the density of the phrase "ball-kick" is off the charts.

D, eh...?
...erm, yeah. I mean, yay, it's here!
...and you might want to watch which way your head is pointing, Graham.
This one wasn't quite as slapstick-y as the last couple have been. I kind of miss that. Then again, this one also kind of felt like a setup for the next ones to come. No pressure, of course...

I commented to the others that this particular episode felt very much like an episode of seinfeld. everyone wrapped up in their own little world, oblivious of the big picture.

Graham: I like your use (overuse?) of the dirty single.

Nice video. Although I do find this one a bit slow. It seems to be building up to an awesome episode 8, but the video on itself is rather dull and not as funny as the previous episoded.
Also, liked the shooting style. Good job on the camera work. Kathleen's acting seemed a little .. "forced" to me (Not sure if it's the right term, but she's done better)

The problem with plot is that it's hard to work the jokes in too.
I don't have an issue with this, I like plot.
I did notice that it seemed everyone's delivery, or at least the delivery on the whole, was much slower in the dialogue. Everyone was talking slower. This kinda dragged it a bit, but otherwise it was well done.
The new camera style is interesting, but I think you may still be grappling with it, as some of the cuts seemed a bit slow.
So, good video, but there were some aspects that seemed a bit slow (dialogue and some of the cuts); perhaps "more deliberate" would be the better phrase.

First of all: HOLYCRAPITGOTONTHETONIGHTSHOW?!?!? Sorry I missed that the first time around. I actually had an odd feeling one of the viral vids would get onto one of the late shows. Congrats, even if the irony was lost.
Loved the video and each character's unique spin on furthering their ball-kicking future. The conflict with the video store clerk seems to be coming to a climax, and I can't wait to see if the LRR cast go into scapegoating and how the clerk will turn the Internet against the wonder of a nunchuk to the testes.

I tend to be overly apologetic. Sorry about that.

Loved the episode.
As for the camerawork, I liked the over-the-shoulder shots, but I think they were a bit overused in this video. Of course, that's to be expected when trying out something new.

The most diverse episode. What minorities fun. I saw a racial discussion and two women conversing (girls talking?LRR?. There was even a cup conversation before balls took over. I think the keys to breast is in the presentation.
I also noticed that it was slower but every time this occurred to me something funny happened, so cheers.

ZOMG AWESOMESPLOSION.
Pure hilarity. I'm going to have to go watch it again to catch everything, but this was pretty damn hilarious. I loved the ad - "Damn skippy!", and the Leno set-up worked so well. I liked all the references to the viral vids, but I was surprised that there were no mentions of Tally and Jer's series. I loved the bit with Paul sighing with the animal on his head - but I love thingsonmyhead anyway, so I'm a tad biased (KEEP MAKING THEM, PAUL!). Actually, now that I think about it, there weren't too many references to Space Jump besides in the ad.
It's interesting to see the "characters" being fleshed out more, especially in the case of the two Matts. Matt hasn't really shown this level of nerdiness when it comes to stats and powerpoints and such yet in cHustle, though it did feel like a bit too much. Maybe if he'd carried around a stack of papers just once in a previous episode, and the character development would have felt smoother. But still, liked it.
Secondly, we really didn't know too much about Tim's character except that he worked with Geoff. He's now revealed to have the layman's humour, so we see that he isn't intentionally an antagonist to Geoff, but just has different tastes. His weakness for the Movie Movies seems a bit conflicting with his rather intelligent twisting of Geoff's words in that scene when he was playing hangman on the script, in Episode 3 or whatever, but maybe that's just me being overly judgmental about people who like those "films".
I hope that Geoff has already put something on the real world internet for us to find, because that would be really cool and add another bit of interactivity. My guess it that Geoff is doing the reveal that the virals were fake, which is a very clever little twist of the plot if I'm correct, and props to you guys for that.
Is Dale Freisen the guy who wanted to do 4th Edition? I think so. Anywho, whoever it was, he did an excellent job. I really like how the oldest member of the DnD group acts like a kid - and pulls it off really well.
I liked having a return to live action credits, and it'll probably help any people from the Youtubes that we snare over here to figure out who did which viral video.
I liked Paul's robot - HE NEEDS TO BALANCE THAT ON HIS HEAD ("I am a robot, I am a robot..."). Also, it looked pretty realistic - as in, something that a guy in his shed could make, and not something that looked cool put would be impossible to actually build. Also, I loved him hugging the robot closer when everyone was worried about a mole.
Oh, and I loved Morgan's coup de grace that he will continue his role as the "villain" (according to google translator from some Mexican games forum) in the coat, kicking people in the balls, for chicks. And probably the funniest bit was when Graham went on a tangent about the only real breasts the internet had seen, and it just so smoothly and cleverly rolled into the bit about "geez, it'd be the size of your head!"
On a related note, while there wasn't as much slapstick, the blocking was really top notch in this episode, and general good acting. There was one shot where Jer was cracking a smile, but it was during a whip cut, so it might've been my imagination.
All in all, this episode really is just setting everything up, which is a bit disappointing, but only because we'll have to wait another month for the next one. However, the next episode is guaranteed to be EPIC, what with Geoff and his crafty plans, everyone trying to make ball kicks make them money, Tally and Kathleen hatching some sort of video-game-related plan, and everyone being pretty paranoid.
So, the tl;dr is that I loved this episode, liked the development of characters, hope that Geoff has already put his plan into motion in the real world, the one-liners and tangents are hilarious as ever, great blocking and and clever plotting, and PAUL NEEDS TO PUT MORE STUFF ON HIS HEAD.
That is all.

The cinematography is terrific! It made the video feel so...good or professional. or something... Anyways, great cHustle as always. I'm so glad it's here.
By the way, under "shooting" it says, "paul saunders, tim sevenhuysen, paul saunders,"

Re: Over-use of over-the-shoulder
That's fair. Unfortunately, when most of an episode is two people talking, that happens. But I'll mix it up more in future.
Re: Slowness
I really don't think it was that much slower, but this was more deliberate. Something that gets lost in rapid cuts like we usually do is actual acting. Silent facial expressions and other subtleties, that are really funny and add to the scene. I tried to get more of these in, while running dialogue over them to avoid dead-air. I think you'd be surprised just how tightly it is edited.
