Merry Christmas Graham Stark

Postby Graham » 21 Dec 2009, 10:46

Written with love by our resident Peanuts über-fan, Kathleen.
There's Peanuts references in there you are very unlikely to notice.

Additionally, MAJOR thank you going out to Bradley Rains (and his dad, I believe) for the stellar music. It's sounds so perfect! So... Guaradli-esque, if you will.

Merry Christmas all!
Or, whatever it is you celebrate!
Enjoy the winter!

Great video, I loved the Peanuts references.
I also liked seeing it before it was posted on the site.
It felt like I was seeing something before I was supposed to.

Jer as Snoopy was the best part. Then Paul came in with a blanky and i lost it. Best Charlie Brown Homage ever.

Wow, great vid. I loved Peanuts when I was younger (or as they marketed at the time, simply "Snoopy").

That was pretty fantastic guys. The quality of the videos at the end of the year has been so great I can't help but look forward to the New Year. There's absolutely too much Win in this video to mention it all in one post. Thanks for the early Christmas gift! Have a happy holidays one and all!

Even you, metacafre who is still dead to me.

I can't believe it took me until the blanket to tip me in on the peanuts references. No wonder all of it seemed vaguely familiar.

Great job, can't wait for the next video.

How long until someone gifs Snoopy Jer?

This vid was awesome and the only thing that seemed off was Tally asking for gift certificates instead of money, but I guess that would have ruined Paul's punchline.

..Well, thanks to Graham's Twitter and my bookmarked LRR RSS feed, I just clicked ze video then and immediately saw Paul with a blankie... And Graham on strike o.O Right away, I knew that there would be something awesome ahead. And then it happened. Graham wearing a Charlie Brown shirt. My life is now complete. GG, guys. GG.

All in all, after watching the whole thing, very well done! And I hope you guys have an awesome Christmas :O I guess it's really my first LRR Christmas, so it's a good one! <3 and such~

Tally's ribbon was cute too ^^;; And Lyinginbedmon, y'sure it wasn't "gift certificates instead of crap I'll just return anyway"? Not just money? =P

..Snoopy!Jer would be quite awesome!

YOu have now idea how much you just made my christmas. I mean, really. Wow. Just Wow.

Admittedly I spent far too long trying to remember all the names of the characters (it's been far too long since I've watched/read peanuts). But this was brilliant, and kudos to Jer as I know for a fact it is very hard to dance like snoopy.

I've never been much of a fan of Peanuts, but that was quite enjoyable, as usual. My favourite part is Paul's speech. Jer's dance was hilarious as well.

I'm pretty sure the handshake was a reference to the Charlie Brown christmas special. That's one down.

Psychological help after summercamp. I know that's a reference but I can't remember why. Also, when Kathleen's talking about training by going on strike from smaller holidays, is there a pumpkin in the background? To do with the grand pumpkin? Or am I over analysing noiw?

Too bad there was no snow. Snow=Christmas special. No matter what subject you're talking about.

References? Can I say that the video itself "Merry Christmas Graham Stark" is a reference to Peanuts? There are subtle references in there, but it all takes the form of an epic super reference, Mecha-Peanuts! Or something. I'll admit, I haven't seen Peanuts on TV for ages and I don't think the Christmas Special airs here, only heard it airs annually on CBS in the states.. So huh..

Yeah, Kathleen. That's like making a music video and asking people to spot all the lyrics in it.

Wait... Peanuts references? I didn't see a single one.

Supremely epic as per usual team but where's Bill as Woodstock?
